@shin1300 to answer your question, it is not that people dont care. I know people who have pens for over 100,000 dollars and above, and they donate millions to charity, so buying an expensive pen does not mean taht you cant give to charity.

also a good pen is a good symbol to show that you are a solid person when u come to business. When are ur dealing with the St. Tropez, Porto Cervo, St. Barths, Cortina D'Ampezzo crowd, a PEN makes a difference. They start taking you seriously, and open doors.

In particular, i have a friend, who gives over 100 million usd to charity, i think one year even 200 million dollars, but he owns a pen for almost a 1 million dollars? does he care about poor? Yes, very much so, but he will buy what he likes, but he also knows by having it, ppl in st tropez, st barths, monaco

it's all the stuff around the pen that's expensive. Wrap that around a ball point pen you buy from shops and it will be the same price (maybe minus $50 or so)
