  • Funny thing is that EVERY time they try to update the piano it fails and they revert BACK to the classic design. Any advances should be made to the action, string scaling and soundboard shaping, i.e the crown and tapers. Ah yea Fazioli and Steinway still do this as do Yamaha. Loads of "art" contemporary pianos have been made over the years, you cannot beat the classic shape of the piano and I love clear ones with lights.

  • Where the f's the music? Imbecile...

  • Shrek's piano

  • I don't give a shit what it looks like, show me some sound! idiots...

  • That's hideous!!!! If this is the future of pianos, then I'm gonna cry!!!!

  • IKEA is now making Pianos?

  • @MrBrushFace96 Haha!!!! Seriously!!!!

  • Lady Gaga will buy it

  • absolute no go!

  • That's not the future, That's the sixties

  • I love how a lot of you people are just crying like little bitches because you're afraid of anything changing. You haven't even heard the way the damn thing sounds and already you idiots are crying about "how horrible! waaaah!" it is. It's a prototype, have you ever seen prototype cars? They look like shit, but it doesn't mean they handle poorly as well. Pianos are only important for the sound they make, not the way they look.

  • if thats the future i dont wanna see it.

  • does it even sound good?

  • awfull cant piano just stay like they are

  • looks more like some kind of modernist design from the 60's

  • I would never buy that.

  • Red strats are ugly,

Red piano's are just as ugly,

Sorry, but thats the way I feel about it. No harm.

  • ....And you can mount an outboard motor to it and go putting around the bay..

  • WTF look sooo...ehh. Looks like its only for little kids

  • K well yeah it looks different but that's not THE FUCKING POINT!! Let's hear this damn thing you fashion idiot.

  • Haha. I'd be willing to try it. Agreeing with sptimmy1, I'd prefer it in black.

  • well... if it comes in black, I'll take one

  • oh god, now that's horrible. it looks like fisher-price.

  • UGLY ! today's pianos are WAAY BETTER

  • Let's hear because it looks UGLY!!! Today's pianos are just BEAUTIFUL. LEAVE it alone!

    Don't mess with success.

    ( :

  • With a one-piece shell like that, how do you remove the action for adjustment? Or do you have to crawl inside? :-)

  • Does it make coffee too?

  • What an ugly instrument. I wonder how it sounds though... Oh, well. I prefer a wooden piano any day.

  • **HUORK** god dammit that thing looks DISGUSTING. looks like a red plastic piano half-melted in a microwave. i should hope that if they ever really make one of these, they at least pick a better color than candy apple stratocaster red

  • @BigNickontheDrum If they make one It will be for lady gaga D:

  • @BigNickontheDrum Do you know the Colani Schimmel?

  • @Superphilipp Just looked it up, not as repulsive as this piece. I think its lines make it a little more real looking and therefore more pleasing, even if it still looks like something out of a car designer's piss-takes. This thing has zero lines which gives it a kind of CGI quality, with the Uncanny Valley aspect cranked to the max.

  • Moronic. There is a reason traditional pianos are made out of wood.

  • Meh, this isn't the first time that they've made a piano out of other things. I've got a book full of pictures of old pianos.

There's a piano from mid 1800's, and it's made out of glass.

  • i dun like its looks, i wonder how it sounds. I prefer wood piano's design..

  • just a new dizain..

  • kinda cool looking, but i wanna hear it played

  • put an amp and all kinds of FX shit in it

  • A real Piano, is made and will be made with WOOD, for ever and ever and ever....

  • Not true

  • I don't like it. I'll still take a Yamaha C9 over anything.

  • I don't know... Looks like the sound wouldn't be very good.

  • send me one to try out. Do you have it in green? it will help with your publicity Im sure of it :)

  • Umm..for the most part pianos have changed very little in over a 100 years so there is something still to be said for the value of tradition.

  • I hope it's still there.

  • Makes sense. Function rarely conforms to traditional asthetics. It's a musical instrument. Who cares what it looks like? Shut your eyes and enjoy.

Meanwhile, I wanna race it on Trackmania.

  • frrst comment........i think it looks weird
