I think Ashcroft and the whole Verve early albums were wrongly involved with the whole grunge outfit that was happening in the states, and again wrongly treated by the the UK press as "different" To be honest i think one of the greatest bands to come out of Britain since the Joy division days, But change is bad in Britain nowadays! Everyone too scared to put their balls on the line and say anyone is good incase it comes back to bite them on the arse! But what do i know?
