@MrRazorblade999 I answered that question in length on my blog (google the words kosteniuk wall street journal ridiculous). In short - chess is a sport.
You seem fearless and amazingly cool under pressure. That fact plus your heavy studying makes you a dangerous opponent. The fact that you have beaten almost ALL the worlds super-grandmastersin blitz at one time or another (carlson, anand! etc) proves this fact. Again thank you for an excellent video, filmed flawlessly.
@chagaev1 Yes being a professional chess player is a fun job, but it's not so easy to make a very good living out of playing chess alone. It's necessary to have other activities, such as promoting chess, playing chess simuls, writing books and publishing DVD's, and teaching.
Metamorphy look in move 14.fxe5 Bg4 15.Qf2(Bf3 f6 not possible capture the bishop in g4 for cause de hxg4, but h3 is correct,), . Black play f6 find exchange the peon g, example gxf6 Bxf6, continue with O-O-O in a position better that the wihte.
@dmed312 Hi! No it's not a rule, but it's just being polite to set up the pieces back on the board after the game so that the next players will find the board set up when they come to the board.
White made a few strategic mistakes in this game leading up to her blunder, in my opinion. The first was playing 14.dxe5 instead of fxe5, opening the f-file and keeping the d-file closed so as to pervent exchanges and take better advantage of her extra space. 21.Kh2 wasn't prophalaxis at all, it just made her king less safe. Ng3 was better. It is very clear that Kostenuik has a much better understanding of this position.
Oh come on! Lets face it, Kostenuk was completely outplayed in the opening, so much so that the only thing she could do was hop around with the knight. The only reason why she won is because she could win the e5 pawn. A good move to be sure, but it has nothing to do with better understanding of the position.
@Robotman42 it wasn't really a sacrifice, as after white takes the bishop, black can deliver a queen check on F4, winning back the piece immediately (queen takes knight).

@alessiociaoalessio It makes no difference what nationality you have to determine if you can play chess well.

Wow, great game! I didn't expect to see the Schiller Variation of the Scandinavian played by top-rated players in a tournament.

@beauch Except friends, I don't think chess players are ever very cordial with each other at the end of a game. A loss at chess hurts! :)
Yeah, it's only a game ;D
I'm very grateful for this opportunity to watch the over-the-board games! Thank you, GM Alexandra!

Is there a rule that says the players have to set the pieces back on the board after the game? Every video the players always set it up again.
