Gavin, who cares about CO2. Are you going to tell us that all plants need to be killed off to protect us? Remember photosynthesis in botany class? You guys all try to scare the people into thinking they need to pass laws and be taxed to do absolutely nothing to "save us". Also, you are not credible and definitely not for the people based on your public speaking and continuous ignorance of news reporters and the very people who want to share their concerns.
I live in the SUV -HUMVEE capital of the WORLD . Miami Florida. One easy way to cut back on these gas guzzling machines of unreal pollution is a HUGE registration fee on any vehicle that weighs over a certain weight or cost a certain amount to fill the tank. They can afford it and the money can go to improving public transportation, etc. The Federal gvmt should handle this and use the money as they see fit as if you let the state handle it the theft of funds will be high ESP in Miami
This is just a marketing ploy. Yes I understand there are some things we need to cut back on like the first poster stated, BUT, buying a new wardrobe? New furniture? Eco dipes? Are we too lazy to say the word "diapers" now? That bamboo furniture may look sharp (sort of) but it does not look comfortable. My mom has been killing weeds with vinegar for 20 plus years. This is nothing new. You can also make your own cleaning produts-with vinegar. You don't have to buy the new green expensive stuff.
Going or being Green has nothing to do with clothes. Lets get real people we are killing our planet with the choices we make everyday. Stop using so much gas. Stop Burning and killing trees. Stop building useless homes that just sit there and further pollute our plannet with all the co2 they emit due to all the harmful products used when it was built. BUILD A GREEN HOME, now thats a start. Use No-VOC paints. Do all these things first and then worry about what T-shirt your are wearing.
