I would be learning more about this software if I wasn't so distracted by how terrible the cameraman is. Otherwise, it looks interesting but also looks like it takes some of the fun out of dj'ing.

So really the only thing I hear that is NEW from the previous Torq edition is 3 new effects were added, there's 4 decks, the fader can act as a cheap way of transitioning with effects, and that it's an open platform. This alone would not make it worth the $50 upgrade for myself. The biggest question is if it was built from the ground up, is it more stable now? Does the BPM distort the sound quality? When you increased BPM on the older Torq the beat would double tap and it would sound awful.

Thanks for the vid, wasn't able to make NAMM this year :-(

Have just checked out the preview/demo - it's still a beta - but gives a good idea of what's coming soon. Think my favourite feature is that Torq is now completely skinnable - so if I don't like the standard interface I can just make my own, with only the controls I need.

Anyway, loving Torq 2.0 compared to 1.5!

I'M USING THE TRIAL AND LET ME TELL YOU RESONATOR FX ROCKS SUPER AWESOME, THE MORPH FEATURE ROCKS, AND THE BROWSER YEAAAAAAHHHH FINALLY REALLY EASY AND FAST COMPARED TO 1.5 I'M SUPER HAPPY FOR THIS CAN'T WAIT TILL FEBRUARY TO GET MY UPGRADE GOING!!!!
