  • interesting!

  • Graybar- the company which was founded as the distribution wing of Western Electric/AT&T. One of the first major companies to be bought out by its employees.

  • Thanks for sharing. That has got to be the highest quality fan of its type. The blade design is clearly the result of design expertise. It is tragic that companies with the best engineering don't have a business model that can survive.

    Thanks again!

  • ILG was known for quality.Everything was heavy duty, made to last..To give you an example my friend has a 30 inch ILG and the motor alone is about 80 pounds.

  • It's called Greed!!!!

  • nice i like it, hope u can get it put up

  • Very nice! I love those wicked looking blades.

  • They are nice blades.Very deep pitch.

  • They can really move some air.

  • I am drooling. I don't like many 1950's fans , but this ILG takes my fancy. I would like to find a ILG new in the box. Because I am in Australia I don't think I will find any here. Are you going to make a custom portable window fan out of it?.

  • I haven't desided if I will sell it or mount it in the upstairs bathroom.I am leaning tward keeping it because it is a very rare piece and because of the power it has It would move the air around.

  • Yeah.
