probally clamped in the Kurt vise and just pretending to hold onto it.. If not, we all had done stuff like that. You get a feel for the piece and hopfully know when it could turn ugly!

never wear gloves with machine tools

i have seen a finger pulled off on a ped drill with a 1/4 drill cas the glove got caught

i had a guy at my work using a drill press theglove got stuck and it ripped his thump off. yea dont wear gloves while using the drill press
