Wow I love this. This video gives the anthem relevance and meaning in a way that it doesn't usually have when you hear it screeched out at a ballpark. I wasn't really very keen on the rap break in the middle but the rest was amazing. I'll be thinking of this version next time I sing our anthem. I guess this version won't get much play in Arizona!

This is one of the better versions i have heard of the US national anthem (compared to the likes of jessica simpson and hendrix). The tunes and harmonies are nice, but the rap and interjections were terrible additions.

creoque teinen razon, losque dicenque debe ser cantado en ingles, siquieren estar en USA deberian aprender ingles, ademas ni es tan dificil, es mas dificil aprender el español o castellano. cantar el himno en otro idioma esc asi como quemar una bandera. ademas le quita mucho sentido esa traduccion, el himno original se la pasa hablando de guerra ahora solo por no dejar, como se escucharia si en vez de reggetoneros lo cantaran mariachis peor en ingles...?

I love this song, and before people hate on me, I love it because when I hear the normal American anthem (yes I am American, born and raised), I don't really feel anything, but when I hear this, hear words like "fulgor de la lucha, al paso de libertad" I feel that patriotism, my grandma was a jew from the DR who escaped the holocaust, and I embrace this song, and what it stands for. And if the USA one day speaks Spanish, I'd have no problem with it. The only part I don't like is the rap

Your retarded...It's not called direct translation...It's called "SPANISH" Other spanish speaking countries just speak spanish a little bit different than the other..They had to do old fashion or else some other hispanics wouldn't understand as clearly. And yes the lyrics do match the music and its the best version of it yet.
Like "ll" to Argentina sounds like a "v", yet (Mexico, Puerto rico, etc) "ll" Sounds like y as in YAk. When is like this (In the song) all span. can undertstand it.

Me perturbas con tu palabrería. En primer lugar tú no me vas a enseñar Español a mí, ya que yo realicé todos mis estudios primarios en un país Latinoamericano. La doble ele en Argentina no se pronuncia como una ve, sino como una "sh." Estoy seguro que con un vocabulario más amplio el himno se pudo haber traducido de una manera mil veces mejor. Pero esta versión del himno es en serio una porquería.

Si E.E.U.U considera a PR como un estado pues lo celebraria y que para mi no hay diferencia de un himno en ingles o espa~ol. Pero el problema seria E.E.U.U aceptandonos como estado porque creo que como nuestra economia no esta muy buena que digamos, esto nos afectara a la oportunidad de ser un estado.
