Cream, not yogurt . I'm pretty sure that's a rule somewhere you can't break. Tomato paste? Lazy. That's for Italians. (Not the lazy part, paste part) What I did take away from this is ground almond! I've not seen that used anywhere, and it is very intriguing. I'm trying pasted cashews tonight, but I like the ground almond twist. I've never seen that in a Murgh Makhni recipe. Big Asian stores usually have the ingredients needed to start exploring Indian cuisine. It's worth the challenge.
One would surely buy the ingredients from a shop that sells spices, would one not? I would certainly imagine one wouldn't just by them in any old shop after all. Tally ho old chap!

there are spice racks at your supermarket. labelled: tumeric, chili powder, etc... ginger, onions...
