Well, If you read the annotation at 0:15 then you would know that I was having difficulty. The reason my audio is so low in this video is I was using a mic that I had never used before, and I had just upgraded to iLife '09, so I was using an editor that was different from what I was used to using. Please excuse the audio issues, and please check out some of my other videos to see if my audio has improved any.
I have a quick question.. will i have to do this in snow leopard with the Logitech Performance Mouse MX? I know this is for the MX revolution but will i need to follow the same steps for the Performance Mouse MX??
These steps do not have to be taken for the Performance Mouse MX or the MX Revolution. These steps only needed to be taken before Logitech upgraded their software to work with Snow Leopard. Logitech has since released an update, and all you'll need to do is install the included software with your mouse on your mac and all will work fine.
I guess in that case, my suggestion would be to make sure you have a reliable USB port, and if that fails try again. There is no guarantee that this works with other mice, but it has worked wonders for the MX Rev.
wtf. were you taping this tutorial while your parents were sleeping. speak up b*tch.

Then, my only suggestion to you is to try again. Many, if not most users have gotten success using this method.
