Aww I love this scene :) Nellie's mom is such a bitch though!! Im glad Nellie turned out to be nice. She was a snob in her childhood which was caused by her mother, then she became a sweetheart when she got older. She oviously became more like her father in her adulthood.

If you look in the Webster's dictionary under the "perfect TV show" Little House on the Prarie, should be the definition. I watched it growing up and now my children love it as well. I wonder why Hollywood cant figure out that this is what most Americans want in a TV show. Not the smut that is flooding our airwaves. Most of the shows they put out now only last a year or two and get cancelled. Cursing and Nudity in TV programs nowadays should not be something we have to put up with.
