  • my favorite artist she is an angel

  • Doesn't sound like the album version but it is still an excellent piece of art.

  • Homogenic y Vespertine son como la dualidad entre el bien y el mal

  • I WAS THERE, with my eyes closed.

  • Referring to the audience-Oh my God,stop shouting and listen to that beautiful music!

  • me encanta en verdad ^^

  • los 6 a quienes no les gusta esto, me pregunto que diablos los emociona en la vida????????

  • Sounds like the music box version of pagan poetry <3

  • @rococoness I found this out this morning (3AM), but if you look up Pagan Poetry Music Box, you get the album version of this. This one sounds more rich and together, but the studio version is longer. This one would be perfect if it was 8 minutes long. Anyway, the studio version is on the Cocoon single.

  • magical :)

  • It's so cute when she picks the paper confetti out of the music box.. This is such a beautiful, simple enchanting tune. Björk forever!

  • Magic. Bjork is magic. <3

  • Holly motherrrrr!!!!! iffin amaziing!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you Björk, for the inspiration.

  • Hmmm... she seemed a little flat in this one... :P

  • I WAS THERE!!

  • @lilplinky lucky! hahaha "I WAS THERE!!... die of envy"

  • @lilplinky lucky

  • This Live opening is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have to say: this isnt (exactly) frosti ;) its called: pagan poetry music box and is on the pagan poetry single :)

  • I heard the difference straight away but didn't realize it was linked to Pagan Poetry. I like how this transitioned into Frosti, however, it's a nice change.

  • I prefer this version than the album's version!

  • Wait, isn't that where they did The Fifth Element?

  • Mmm, no, i think not...

  • you self fighteous critics need to shut the hell up, bjork is the goddess of sound, let her be!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh what I would give to go to one of her shows... beautiful.

  • Horay!

  • That's the music box for Frosti. The album version had the music box and other stuff added to it, AND it is being played in an opera hosue rather than a studio

  • It's not the music box for Frosti...the music box on Vespertine is nothing but the music box. There's nothing "added."

This is the music box for pagan poetry. It's on one the first Cocoon single labeled as "Pagan Poetry (Music Box)." It's not Frosti.

  • i get chills when those curtains open

  • ;_; So much beautiful

  • I wish I had this music box.. it looks and sounds like magic.

  • Hey, this is not Frosti from the Vespertine album.

  • It goes beyond of playing accurately a song. We're talking about essences.

    Kyou!.

  • yeah! is rosti...

  • it's not :D

it's the Pagan Poetry music box.

  • simply beautiful

  • frosti is the sped up version of pagan poetry.

  • isn't this the music box for pagan poetry?? either way, i still love it. vespertine was definately one of her best albums.

  • what is a disappointment? she named the song Frosti because that's the name of Jóga's son.

  • nevermind, I understand what you're saying after watching the entire video.

  • She kicks so much ass just sitting there with a music box. My gosh, she's too awesome and is soooo incredibly beautiful. If I could be another person for a day, it would be Bjork, without a single doubt.

  • so beautiful!

  • this was simply beautiful. of all the things they'd played, this was the one that made me emotional. Pagan poetry is my ringtone right now for about a month, and this, just the harp music, nearly made me cry.

  • how did u get that ringtone!!?

    ;p i luv that song

  • it makes me feel splendidly beautiful.

  • Tres Beau. Merci!

  • it's a mix of pagan poetry and frosti btw.

  • it's not, it's just that some of the sounds here are louder than in the cd version of the pagan poetry music box. and it's more sped up here (and frosti is really fast, that's why it seems like it's frosti.)

  • okay

just wondered why they sell it as frosti

  • because there's a frosti music box, someone probably thought this was it. it's actually mislabeled as well in the live box cd, but if you listen to this and the pagan poetry music box, they're exactly the same (except this is sped up a bit.)

there's a music box for aurora too. i can't find the video but it was in youtube...she took it on a talk show. giant thing...

  • yes yes, I know all this Björk-stuff.

    I'm a Björkaholic! :)

    Are you in the 4um?

  • I am actually, but I rarely post anymore. I was active right before the Volta release, and somewhat during. I never posted that much to begin with.

Not like some of the 4umers with like 23462346 posts and just as many different names...

  • oh, I know ;)

In the moemnt I'm posting much

    but not so extrem

perhaps one or two posts per day

  • lol. I used to do the cheating thing...where'd you hit reply on someone's post so you could still post after your max number of daily posts was up.

  • thanks

now I know how I should do it, too!! :)

  • She had a music box for "Cocoon" on a talk show. It was really nice.

  • i feel like a goddess listening to this..so divine..

  • This is also how i feel ...it's pretty and calm

  • omg! i love bjork more and more every passing day!

  • Despite the fact this is officially listed as Frosti, this song is actually Pagan Poetry in a music box rendition.

I realised that listening to the album and the live in sequence.

    Anyone else?

  • Yes i have noticed that too, is pagan poetry, pagan poetry

  • no, this is frosti, pagan poetry sounds different

  • it's not frosti. it's the pagan poetry music box...it was released with the cocoon single. frosti is the one that sounds different. :)

  • most def!

  • it's incredible how she can turn a 'simple' thing in such an amazing and impressive presentation!

  • so beautiful!

  • at last i found the overture of this

    concert :D

  • see es verdad ..

  • ¿Y qué me dices de "Who is it" o "The pleasure is all mine"???

  • Every album has great songs, but in Volta EVERY song is beautiful.

    My point of view.

    Kyo.-

  • not only in volta, in every album she has done :)

  • NO ONE loves Bjork as much as I do. But my sentiment is that every one of her albums is beautiful EXCEPT for Volta. I was very disappointed. But that's only my opinion.

  • i second that. it was good... but i was hoping for better. vespertine was a masterpiece.

  • doesn't that mean that someone out there does love her more than you do?

  • dude, shut up

  • no. :)

  • Valid point, lol.

  • @ohwir89 estoy de acuerdo.

  • Es muxo muchismo mejor homogenic ;D

  • Great ! Music and entertainment at it`s best.

  • What a supreme Harmony.....

  • what song was after this one...im curious to see how she followed it

  • hey! have you noticed this song is not Frosti? is a remix from the song "Pagan Petry" made with this great music box, you can listen to this song in the "pagan poetry" singles!

  • exactly

  • it must be so amazing to play at such a vast venue. Its name even: The Royal Opera House. the opening with her in the center of the stage with the music box is one of the most beautiful images ever rendered. the music boxes were used often in Vespertine, and I don't quite understand how they work, really. Maybe that's just me being uneducated about something.

  • The music box has a series of prongs of different lengths that touch the spinning disc and the little holes flick the prongs, making them play different notes. The crank is what makes the disc spin.

So basically it'll play the same song over and over and over if you keep cranking it up

And I agree with you, this is tuly beautiful

  • I really love Frosti, is so beautiful

  • i really love this

and i wish "frosti" was longer

  • yep, this is the music box version of pagan poetry.

why did bjork name this track of the dvd as Frosti?

  • The music box is such a beautiful piece...! I WANT IT TOO!!!

  • How much does she want for the box?

  • Yes!! its pagan poetry omg i've been loking for this for ever.thaaaaaaaaaanks!!! i think i love you

  • so much deep...

  • How can anyone get this music box...I think I would name my first baby after the person who could help me.

  • Hahaha! sorry i can't help you

  • I tried asking on the forums for björk too, but no, no one can help us :(

  • How could the same disc be used? I mean..virtually all the notes are different. Not just melody but the notes in the background.

Where's your software so you can test for us :P

  • Comment removed

  • @pookeylou It was custom made for her. Soooo...your chances, slim to none :)

  • it is pagan poetry.

And I love it to death.

  • this isn't actually Frosti, it's the Music Box version of Pagan Poetry. it's listed incorrectly as Pagan Poetry. look it up.

  • The DVD say "1.- Frosti"

  • Frosti is basically very similar to the music box arrangement of Pagan Poetry, I think the two peieces of music are purposefully intertwined, and it does say Frosti on the DVD you are right, but this is actually the pagan poetry version. Either way I love it, thanks for posting!
