The only reason this band got a start was becasue of John Belushi

who was obsessed with them, and even sang with them, he is the person who got them on SNL, and wanted their music in his 'Neighbors" movie.

This kicks so much ass and unlike BadBrains that so many now days are giving more credit today than any of us did back then just because they're black,I can understand every word just like I could with DK's and C.J.'s,Naked Raygun,M.D.C.,Angry Samoans.I don't hate the Badbrains but just because a couple interview's with Rollins and Minor threat all the sudden here comes the psuedo bandwaggon.BadBrains didn't invent anything except bringing shitty fuckin reggae to a punk show to slow it down.

@DroogMonkey I have to agree with blitzspeer. Bad Brains weren't the first hardcore band, and they are overrated. They had one good album, which isn't incredible primarily because the reggae shit sucked. They stole from bands that had gay members. Like I'll call somebody a fag for a laugh, but trying to actually fuck over somebody for being queer is a dick move. I understand they're influential, but I always found them and east coast hardcore gay in general. Fuck DC! FEAR & LA REIGN!
