I live in England and I am a bit reserved, people need to mind their business so if I see someone arguing I will leave them to it. BUT if I see someone getting mugged/attacked I will interven and beat the attackers ass. stopped my sister from being attacked, overpowered the guy and called the cops

There is such thing as a nice guy but there is also such thing as being a doormat. You can be either one or the other but never both. Being a nice guy has more to do with keeping your dignity intact amd not just doing the rigt thing but pointing out what is wrong and nip it in the butt! Dude, I highly agree with you on some points but there really is a big difference. Also doesn't mean you take every hit that flys your way. You move pass b.s. and keep moving forward. I'm just saying but I agree.

i try to have both mentalities but i really wanna be more of the nice guy but a previous issue i had with a friend ruined a lot for me and i will never but the same i gained wisdom. to gain is knowledge and when you lose some thing you gain wisdom. i do remember some of the disney world vids lol great video it made me think about stuff.

I have the nice guy mentality :/ and I can take almost anything now a days when it comes to emotional beatdown, I can always think and reason my way out of it. But I can't fight back or take it when they actually beat the crap out of me. If someone gets mad and their reasoning doesn't reach you, if not supervise they will like beat the shit out of you because you can't fight back. (most of the time).

When you bring up the example of someone getting raped, mugged, etc. You really need to consider a few things. First, will you actually be able to help or would you make a hostage situation, consider if you could be physically harmed making things worse, and if you don't get involved if you can find someone or the police to assist you.

I mean yea the "badass" might get the girls and appear to be super popular in the eyes of the masses, but many of these "badass" guys end up alone in the end. I personally don't give a fuck about these badass fag muffinz since I generally am a nice guy, and I can be patient for things that I really want be it something I want to buy, go out with some girl, etc. Life is too short to get jealous at "badass" fag muffinz...lol.

I'm like one of the few people with the nice guy mentality where I live and I like it to be honest. And yea I do get wailed on by the IDGF people and its gotten to a almost suicidal point but I just brush it off. I try to lock the hatred along with my heart and emotions away and bottle it up and just go on with as a living corpse . Not the best idea but it works to some extent.

I think I'm on of the few people that is kinda stuck in the nice guy mentality. I have tried to be an asshole before but for some reason its against my nature. I have been jaded as fuck from the other side of the fence though, so I have this sorta cynical asshole cover on me but its really just skin deep...... best way to describe it is Tsundere I guess x_x....... *sigh* I hate Vegas....
