@Mikes1800 Of course there is. I visited family friends near Boise in 2001 and we went to New Meadows one day and I do recall he took I-84 west to US 95 north. It was a nice road but I was thinking to myself that he could have taken the straight shot up Route 55. He claimed that 55 has too much curves. I live in New Jersey so I have only been on US 95 a very few times. Although I do recall a portion between Riggins and Grangeville runs along the Salmon River.
US Route 95 is MUCH better and more scenic than the infamous Interstate 95 of the East! Great video,
