It is kind of difficult to make a show today with a criminals..and be PC at the same time.

If you make both the criminals and the cops white - you are told that it is an all white show.

and you are a racist.

If the criminals are minorities - you are a racist.

If some of the cops are minorities - you are still a racist - because you only put a latino cop on the show - to be PC.

Another thing - while watching along - there are some comments from other viewers about the racial issue - and as I understand - the director was kind of a racist - but you can't tell in the show.

I think that the show was 100% PC for an 80's show. But haven't said that - 20 years later we have another view of what is PC and what is racist...time and expectations are changing all the time :-)
