A lot of the bands that are now considered classics of the 2000's were what I listened to in High School with just about everyone else. Brand New, Saves The Day, Say Anything, Yellowcard, Senses Fail and the like. And for the most part none of them got ruined. And at least Panic challenged itself by putting out a completely different record then the first.
