I SO love this song! And I love how it was written for the beautiful and tremendously talented Stevie Nicks. I loved this song when it came out when I was barely two, and I still love it so much 30+ years later. This song always makes me so happy. :)
Have loved the song since it came out. Interesting how differently you envision the singer to when you actually see video. This guy had a Heath Ledger thing going long before Heath Ledger...
Love this song a lot. I like the use of the correlation of love's attraction being like that of the immediate connection made between a magnet and steel. That is some pretty intence interaction going on. I love the the way the intensity is represented as that powerful attraction. Great song any way you "look" at it. Thank you for this post.
I loved ithis song and remember it well. I love the analogy between love and a magnet and steel. That is how it is with love - the pull is strong and is impossible to stop the connection, but more is required with human heart and holding the connection. Great love is required along with honesty and truth. Trust must be the solid foundation from which the connection can never be broken and it allows the love to build higher and higher and become more and more beautiful. Thank you.
OMG...I shoulda NEVER looked at this...ughhhh! He's TOTALLY gross....I love this song but I don't think I can get this plastic cake-faced creep out of my head after this...wow.

@MrMrLico the story behind the music pretty much tells the story of why it is what it is(was a stevie nicks and buckingham collaboration)

You are incorrect about Stevie Nicks singing background. It was in fact Annie McLoone, who you see here in the video.

@80sbuttrock Look at "They Just Can't Stop It"(Games People Play) by the spinners....what is in the video is not ALWAYS who sang the part
handsmlake 8 months ago
@80sbuttrock you are incorrect. it is in fact 80% of fleetwood mac who plays on this song except lindsey buckingham who only produced.
bluejay55118 8 months ago
@80sbuttrock the credits in the album list both Annie and Stevie as backups and you can clearly hear both their voices.

@80sbuttrock you are wrong.lindsey buckingham played on this song and sang backup with stevie.look it up.
