there is something that i find really odd; on Rolling Stone's list of top 100 guitar solos, David Gilmore got the following mentions: #88 - Dogs #77 - Have a Cigar #53 - Money #34 - Atom Heart Mother #21 - Shine On You Crazy Diamond #13 - Time. and the best solo of all time... Comfortably Numb. makes sense, yes? here's the weird part, in Rolling Stones list of the top 100 guitarist of all time Gilmore only got #82!! does anyone else notice the lack of correlation between the two list?

Best solo ever! I've heard so many versions of it already, but this has to be my favourite. If we ever have to put something in a time capsule because we've finally fucked up as a race and are all supposed to be dead in less then 24 hours, we can simply put the footage of this concert in as the epitome of human culture. The aliens are bound to appreciate it.
