  • Last week in New York City they set CENTRAL PARK on FIYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was lovin' the LIVE experience!

  • I absolutely love the Clark Sisters. They are true sisters in Christ. Their songs fill the Spirit with a direct connection to the Lord. Blessed be his name!!!!

  • I love Jacky

  • i love Jacky

  • I love Jacky

  • i love this song!!!! Lord, Who am I that you would trust me with your love? Amen

  • This is my first time herring the Clark Sisters. I love there message .

  • Jackie does have a song on this CD; she sings a song they previously recorded called "Angels" and it's absolutely beautiful. Like it was written for her voice and her anointing...

  • y aint jackie singin any of the songz

  • My comment was removed and it was a compliment ?!?!? What I ment was that Karen is AMAZING at the end of You Heard My Cry.

  • Comment removed

  • Sing ANGEL!!!!!!!!!

  • The Clark Sisters are the finest instruments of contemporary music.

  • Ther go jacky makin those funny faces again @ 9:37 lol. but anyways, love this performance and especially Instrument and btw honestly folks think before you comment, some rude comments are not needed

  • can yall be more respectful on the page of a gospel group,,how rude and disrespectful can you be...all yall mammas are men with full grown beards...stop it for god sake.

  • Love instrument. Blanch from tri-city is on tha CD its beautiful

  • Come On Twink!!!

  • OMG...I love that song "Instrument"...Praise Him

  • dorinda looks blessed

  • pray 4 her.......shes not as enegeric as she usual be!! it mite be her age!!! but i still love her!!! my fav!!

  • She's energetic, she just can't do alot of shouting here. This recording was on a dvd. I have the dvd. SO she couldn't do all that! She is the bomb. LOL.

  • u know she lost alot of weight and u know thats affectin that. pray for her

  • u trippin (no offence) she always sound good and yeah she's lost weight and been in the hospital right now she has to have some1 walk wit her

  • I'm sorry...let me rephrase that...I haven't enjoyed her soprano voice lately (or ever really)...it doesn't sound as good as her low and mid tones to me. I LOVE HER LOWS acompanied by the runs!

  • oh ok but she does sound alittle off but other than that she's amazing

  • instrument is my song, lord bless them!

  • Instrument is my song 2, and yes Lord keep on blessing the Clark Sisters!

  • I just listen to this you know these sisters are blessed and highly favored

  • I know this was on tv but what was the name of the programmed on which it was being aired?

  • Sing it Twinkie

  • I love how these sisters finesse a song down to the wire. Instrument is one of my favorites! But can anyone tell me who comes in towards the end of that song on the album? It sounds like Usher, but I know it's not him. Whoever hatched the idea of putting that voice in there was right on time. It just a perfect fit. And the reprise was icin' on da cake!! And I must say that on the album those sisters are phenomenal but Twinkie came with a bag of tricks and straight ripped it!

  • Blanche McAllister is the voice that comes in at the end of the song and it was Donald Lawrence's idea because he produced this live album and Blanche sings with his Tri-City Singers choir.

  • Thanks for that info vocalgenius! I needed that closure:-)

  • @CastlesandMansions It Was Blanche McAllister Dykes

  • @jbrooks0206 Thanks for the feedback!

  • @CastlesandMansions Her name is Blanche. She sings with Donald Lawrence

  • @Lederius18 Thanks Lederius!

  • Jacky is one of the best female tenors in the world

  • @2bowling AGREED..

  • I love Jacky

  • @2bowling Her Blanche and Lejuene thompson

  • You Heard My Cry is my newest favorite song by these anointed women of God. I just wish they had done their own thing, cause everything is TOO perfect.

  • hjuyb[kpnnlum8765443

  • karen karen

  • Twinkie is favorite Singer, i always wanted to sing, play, write like her and everything. Just an anointed woman of the lord. Um, as far as the video, I was not happy because there is a tape playin' in the background, it seems like a waste of time to have musican's pretend to play when we all know there is a pre recorded tape. But i love how they improvise!

  • I sort of felt the same, but I still hear them clearly you know... They are not as young as they use to be and needed it to be as clean as possible... I'm sure if it was up to them they would have probably done it raw and uncut just as Mrs. Mattie would intend it to be!!!

  • so they are lip singing in this video according to destinyogbon?? .

  • Ain't nobody lip singing

  • Not lip singing. They are singing on top of tracks though. They are still singing just have that backing under them as well as the background singers. It makes it sound a lil more like the CD. Most artist do it in live performances now.

  • Make sure you watch the 2008 Stellar Awards. The papers report the Sisters were big winners. Let's hope they do as well at the Grammys.

  • man the stellars are so biased and the same people win every year

  • That may be. To tell you the truth I seldom watch the Stellars because it has beome too secular. In the beginning there was this sendse of godly pride because Christian artists were being recognized and honored for their gifts and talents. Now we have secular artists presenting awards and hosting. Call me old fashioned but I think ther should be a saeparation. I can't imagine King Nebuchanezzar presenting an award to King David for his ability to arrange psalms.

  • I agree

  • Hey Snoopyco07, here is reason number two for not watching the stellars: Kirk Franklin. I like the guy but sometimes I wonder if there is such a thing as overexposure. Some televison stars who are consecutive winners at the Emmys will not accept another nomination so other artists can have a shot at the trophy. Something for Mr. Franklin to think about.

  • yep somethin 4 him and a bunch of others 2 think about...im done wit the Stellars, I bet Kirk will sweep up awards next year...NOT FAIR!!LOL

  • That's not fair to say jimbo. How in the world can you just seclude people out because you think they're worldy. If that was the case we would have to do the same for church. It's for what the Bible says, giving honor where honor is due. What about what Jesus would do. He said let everything that has breath praise the LOrd. Think about this he blesses us not by what we do. Grace is unmerited favor, something we can't earn. That just might be what brings them closer to God. Who are we to say!

  • I think you misunderstood my comments Ksharri. I was saying that insults, profanity and repugnant comments should not be posted on gospel sites. There should be a difference in how we respond in comparison to worldly sites. Some of the comments made on this page alone is embarrassing. And for the record the Bible is explicit on what is worldly and the scope of our interaction. Thanks for the comment.

  • Ilove this song so much...i'm serious it is the bomb!

  • i just truly love these songs and i dont know who did karen, dorinda, Jackie and twinkie's make up but they were all casket fresh...(Thats a good thing) especially Dorinda she looked like she was ready to see the king...!!!!

  • BHJ Bless Him Jesus

Forgive him y'all, for he knoweth not what he doeth

  • I knoweth what i saideth... You know i dont want them to die them like my mothers of music... ims sure you meant no harm by what you said either...LOL

  • No harm intended. It's just that I think we should restrict rude, insensitive disrespective remarks to "worldly" sites. Casket-fresh? Come on babyboy, that just ain't right. (Pardon the poor grammer)LOL

  • No harm taken just dont get it twisted with christians i am one and i do still live in the world which allows me the opportunity to still function worldly at times kkkkLOL.....WIth love... me

  • what are you two talking about?

  • Thats because they are Blessed and Highly Favored

  • I love this song. everytime i hear it. it makes me think of my family and so many other families that God wants to use for his kingdom, but they have not accepted the call. I thank you lord for the gift and i am here to use it for you!!

  • Jacky is really serious about her Lord. She uses every available moment/interview to give God the praise.

She is also has a beautiful spirit.

  • Correct! Everytime she gets a mic, she talks about the Lord! Thats really whats good!

  • I jus seen them last week their tour started toledo was the second stop on their list man it was a great show they sang for 2hrs. it was well worth it,they look so good not to mention j.moss, and kiki and j drew jr. came out and sang with them at the end much respect 2 the clark/moss family they r blessed much love!

  • On the serious side people are making it better calling that person names. You ain't no better calling names!

  • Jacky is beautiful......

  • Now these are the Clark Sisters we remember, and THIS IS THE TWINKIE WE KNOW AND LOVE...

  • I luv the Clark Sisters espeically Dorinda, Karen, Twink hey all of them are my fav

  • the person that made hat comment about the "stripper" must ot be familiar with the scripture touch not my anointed !!!

  • I cant believe that someone would actually say that Dorinda looks like a stripper. Thats disrespectful, and very ignorant. In no way or form does she look like a stripper. I WILL DEFINATELY keep you in my prayers.{But you know what the more haters they get the more God is going to continue to elevate them so please continue to hate on them.And if you dont want to hate on them feel free to hate on me because I need 34 before the summer is over}

  • Normally i ignore the demeaning comments in regard to videos of gospel songtress, however the moron that made a reference to a stripper in describing a Clark sister; your ignorance is showing. My prayers are for you!

  • What an IDIOT!!!!

  • your wrong for this thats a women of god dont put nothn like dat again

  • Lol, you need prayer!

  • KKK? Girl wut da hell wrong wit u? 3 things: 1st uh all you dont make comments like the ones you previously typed that is not appropiate. 2nd uh all that is not the time nor the place for this. Honey we live in the 21st centrury get over your self we are all equal so dont joke like tht. 3rd of all u got some real nerves to put this comment on a video like this someone looking to hear some gospel music or what ever has read this. You are very low down.

  • You need to stop talking like that. That is disrespectful to talk about someones mom like that. Don't do that here!

  • tht comment is totaly inopropiate

  • These are some of my all time favorite songs. I love to worship and this just set the atmosphere for worship, and then the song lingers around in your heart so it sparks an instantaneous worship when you think about how good God is!!

  • @ 4:34 twinkie was lookin at Karen Like Oh Lord shes doiN it again shes takin over... then she looked like... Gurl wat are yu doiN y yu singin so loud?!?! lol go Head Clarks... i really do hope this isnt the LAST time

  • karen put her braces back on for this??

  • Man I love Blanche can't believe she's not on this version.

  • I am so glad to see Twinkie looking so great!!

  • I loved on the end of instrument, they harmonized like a violin.

  • i miss blanche saying-- "you made me an"

thats all she HAD to say. the girl is bad.

  • than*

  • Twinkie believes in worship...i aint mad at that!

  • Karen was TOTALLY on point...Vocally and spiritually!!!!

  • Ok I love them all and not cuz wat they sang cuz of wat message that the songs they write touches so many ppl. The words fit the bill just in the rite place

  • I love Dorinda's harmony on you heard

  • jackie clark chisiam is a great singer

  • she is

  • jackie has mean growl also

  • jackie has a perfectly clear tone on this song

  • I've always loved Twinkie's voice! In Gospel Music, Twinkie is under-rated as a singer/vocalist.

  • karen is so beautiful and the sisters sound so great. these two r my favorite songs on the albumn!

  • THIS IS MY JAM!!!!!!!!

  • i think these are my favorite 2 cuts on the cd. so powerful!!!! i hope they sing forever.

  • YES!

  • "my daughters just trust me, you can depend on me" saaaang y'all. i luv that part.

  • This song takes and pulls me through. I love it!

  • 1:55-2:03 whoa, that harmony is serious.

  • I have Instrument on repeat now.

  • i hope this song will be the next single. twinkie really moves me, i almost lose it when i hear this song.

  • yeah, i think it was blanche singing at the end of "instrument"...this is the best song on the c.d. (my personal opinion)

  • Instrument is my favourite song on the CD. But when listening to the cd on the end, the person ad libbing alongside Twinkie sounded like Blanche McAllister...can someone say whether or not it was her? By the way...SAAAANGG Karen!!!

  • yeah that is blanche, she killed it live!

  • Yeah, it's Blanche.

  • Twinkie has the best range out of the sisters. I mean that she can go high and really low. Thats the def of great range.

  • "For the rest of my life I'll give You praise" is my favorite part. I hate that they only did one time. I rewind that part several times in my car. My passengers hate me for that. LOL

  • Definition of a mezzo soprano from Music Dictionary, "A female voice similar in range to a soprano, but with a darker color and the ability to extend the range lower than a regular soprano."

  • SANG TWINKIE!

  • I love this song as wall the girls voices are at their best they are on fire for God so for all them that hate on big girls like twinkie that no problems because, WE are like all but thicker then most so holla!

  • Twinkie is so pretty!!Sang Sister!!!!!!

  • y didn't they show jackie singin', man she did betta than all to me!

  • who are you calling a mezzo soprano?

  • I was calling Twinkie a mezzo soprano. A mezzo soprano is very similar to a full soprano from my understanding. Only difference is mezzo's just have a broader range or the capability to sing tenor and some lower registers as well.

  • you're right...but mayb we should add "full" onto that b/c regular mezzos don't go as high or low as her.

  • I wouldn't call Twinkie a mezzo-soprano. I'm a voice teacher. Mezzo-sopranos are literally "medium sopranos". The two reasons that I wouldn't consider Twinkie a mezzo-soprano are her range and tone quality. Twinkie's higher notes extend past the average mezzo's range. Mezzos usually have a darker tone than sopranos but Twinkie's voice has a bright sound to it. I would consider her more of a dramatic soprano because she has such a powerful voice. Regardless, she has a God-given gift.

  • On this video she is singing higher than normal...listen to her compared to karen's dramatic soprano voice. She is actually mezzo, she just tends to sing whatever is necessary...soprano, alto, tenor and bass...stuff like that.

  • i think jackie clark chisiam she put out a nother album a solo gospel album

  • BEST MEZZO SOPRANO ALIVE! Thanks Mattie and Twinkie for the Clark Sisters. Best singers and living legends.

  • Twinkies a full soprano...she can get up there like Karen...

  • TWINKE IS ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS EVER.

  • I thank God and Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and Elder Elbert Clark for these dynamic sisters in Christ! They have a legacy that is being passed on to their children and cousins for being so diverse in their music and ministry and it has been a blessing to have been a faithful follower and fan of theirs. I just wished that Niecey could have been a part of their last time cd. I love the Clarks and if Twinkie was drunk she was drunk in the spirit not alcohol. Long sing the Clark Sisters!

  • Jacky was born in 1951, Twinkie was born in 1954, Dorinda was born in 1958, and Karen was born in 1960. It' funny that Dorinda was born the year Mattie Moss Clark wrote "Going on to Meet the King".

  • I like alot of songs on this CD but Instrument just does something for me! Thanks Donald you came through again!

  • I agree. When i heard "You Heard My Cry," it truly ministered to me. The c.d. is great!!!! That has to be one of the best songs that Twinkie has ever written.

  • now why would you think Twinkie is an alcoholic based on this video...unless u are a recovering alcoholic yourself!! and why speak on such negativity about someone whom u dont even know ? people always want to think the worst of someone, rather than think the best of them esepcially when u dont know them

  • U Heard My Cry is decent... I love Instrument just to hear them 4 and only them 4 get solos & harmonize, is what a group should be.

  • I can't belive someone would think twinkie is drunk. How sick can that be?

  • C'mon dont talk about someone, NO she is not an Alcoholic!!! THE BIBLE SAYS TOUCH NOE MY ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM! becareful on what rumors you strt on here!

  • Twinkie and the Clark Sisters Reign!

  • c'mon yall...twinkie's not an alcoholic. let's get serious. she's had some medical problems in the past. notice she doesn't stand much and hasn't been for a while in most of their performances...let's not slander any names here...hooah?

  • this song is the bomb especially when Auntie Karens starts singin but Mom Dorinda is still my favorite then karen then the rest

  • Twinkie is STILL the queen!

  • Twinkie has got to be drunk.

  • I was just about to ask if something wrong with her. Is she an acholoic? I hope not

  • NO the Alcoholic that embarrased himself on the celebration of gospel was JaHeim when he opened with Mary Mary... Twinkie probably cant see with them eyelashes.

  • Now, why would you say a thing like that?? Twinkie has had some medical problems but from what I hear she is doing good. He ankle that she fell on is getting better and she is losing weight!!! I not trying to be anybody's mama hear but don't talk about people and you don't know their situations!!!

  • Thanks for clearing that up. I see in recent pics that she looks a little thinner.

  • I loooove "You Heard My Cry", it's my favorite on the album. Such a beautiful & poignant song. Write Twinkie, sing girls!!

  • This is my favorite song on the cd!! Jackie is doing her thang!!Thanks for the post!!

  • thank you so much for posting...i love them soo much....karen is sooo flawless

  • I can't thank you enought for this posting! May God bless you for sharing this blessing with others!!! Mattie's girls are no joke!!!
