  • El alto costo de LA inacción. Please add that to the title. If you are going to write something for the Spanish speaking community do it right.

Also: SI NO TOMAMOS ACCION... Nobody says that in Spanish.

  • meird@

  • wow, capturing constituencies never gets old...

  • espero que esta vez si se apruebe para que mexico pueda salir contagiado y mejorar la vida de miles de personas independientemente de su nacionalidad

  • Mi es deco bajo espanol. Matter fact I'm almost sure I said that wrong. And I don't have the key sequence for the ~+n

  • English first or second?

    Begin the debate, now!

  • It's about time they noticed America's second language.

  • btw if this add was intended for spanish citizens here, why put it in spanich if all citizens are required to learn english duhhh!

  • @alhaquin the video was uploaded in english a day or two ago.

  • @christopherawesome yes it is I saw it too, why bother putting in in spanish is the question.

  • Im an Obama supporter, and a health care supporter (more or less) but when they put this shit ad for the reform in spanish, its like they are trying to get spanish support, when the bill doesnt cover immigrants at all, infact all are banned and left out from health reform... I woudnt complain if there was actually an immigration reform on the way but no there isnt

  • @alhaquin Dude, there are a lot of legal US residents and citizens, that haven't been out from their community, so they never learned the language well. And that doesn't happen with Spanish speaking people only, it happens with a lot of communities. If you haven't had the chance to see this, I advise you to go to Chicago or New York to get a sense what is outside your bubble... Sorry for poping it.

  • um buddy, I'm both spanish and legal, and I understand both languages. THe only purpose I see here putting this in spanish is to rally up the spanish community, espcifically the illigal ones. think about it, if immigration reform passes, and he's got these people on the democratic side, which way do you think they will vote? think ouside the box dude

  • It's interesting how many american residents don't like the government's involvement with their personal issues. In Europe, though, people seem to have more of an attitude as to "How can we use the government for our own good?".

  • In many countries the people view the government as something they are a part of while in the united states many people view it as an organization they are always competing against. It might be because in america the elected officials vote along their own or party values where in other countries they put fourth the values of their constituents even if it's contrary to their own.

  • @christopherawesome Yeah, I agree. You also formulated that much better than I did ^^

  • gracias por hacerlo en español y suerte

  • i'm sure we all know that this is the spanish version of an english message....

  • No idea why this is in spanish but I'm glad I speak it.

  • @Speedomike747

    Racist.

  • morons this is also up in english this is just translated and the english one was up first

  • There's an English version of this video, "The Cost of Inaction". Surprisingly enough, the states has a very high population of native Spanish speakers. Therefore, they've gotta have many things in Spanish as well, such as signs and videos like this one. =)

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning Well there is your answer "I thought" and "Didn't think"

  • theres already been a english version posted. spanish is the second most common language in the us, right? so this makes sense.

  • @Clairbear2007 You are right sir, funny enough i never see a Republican do this before. It shows that the Democratic party has grown accepting of others with color, disability, and race.

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning Mexican politics? how ignorant are you to say that when there are latinos from all over the world.

  • @JPhillippeMusic

I'm hardly ignorant, being Welsh. There may be people of Spanish decent all over the world, but being a person from a small country where there aren't many, and looking at the US as an outsider, that is the impression I'm getting.

It isn't ignorant because most people outside the US recognises the US's involvement in other country's policies etc. So this being in Spanish, and the closest Spanish country to the US being Mexico, I put two and two together.

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning Thanks for the clarification...I'm a Colombian latino and I found your comment kind of offensive, yet I understand your point. FYI Mexicans are the majority within latinos but Puerto Ricans, central Americans and South Americans play a huge role in overall latino policies.

  • @JPhillippeMusic

It's fine. I take offence a lot when people say Wales is 'part of England'. Ugh!

I have Puerto Rican friends in the US, I just thought (from TV and all) that most of the US is White, Christian and English speaking.

And what with the wars in the middle East, I thought it was just more American policy in other countries, like I said, closest Spanish country.

I didn't mean any offence whatsoever. I try not to offend people.

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning lol by that reasoning I can say most ppl in the UK are English so anything their government post in Scottish or Welsh must be meant to influence some other country in the world (since all I know about those languages is that they arent English) . We are a pretty diverse nation, dont let the GOP fool ya.

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning Don't worry about it...it wasn't a big of a deal. You'll be surprised how much diversity the U.S has...You have to be open minded and visit all around because you might find a city predominantly white and Christians and you might think that's the norm...yet there is so much diversity you will find tons of atheists, catholics, jewish people, blacks, latinos, asians, democrats, republicans in every state. U.S is a true melting pot, i love it!

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning Also, TV within the U.S is strange because you have 1/4 of TV being all spanish channels yet overseas the higher budget white channels are the ones that air like ABC. It's also funny how news channels have their own biases and audiences. FOX news is extremely republican conservative anti-Obama and CNN is more democrat. This country is a melting pot, it has its benefits and disadvantages.
