This was obviously in the early days of the foul-and-miss rule. Nowadays players wouldn't complain about that being called a miss.

Dennis was always a contraversial character. The above video ended up with him grabbing the black ball and throwing it at the referee's head. Luckily he missed and it ended up breaking a bone in Alain Robindoux's left arm which prevented Alain ever being able to play a snooker shot left handed.

Poor Dennis was right. He missed that red by a fanny's hair. Still, it's pointless even thinking about getting the referee to change their minds. They will lose respect instantly if they did.

Fanny hairs are generally curled. Even if you were to pluck one and lay it out flat it'll normally curl up again, like a clock spring. Try it. I don't know if that helps at all, but I thought I'd throw it in there.

I guess you're right. In future I will refer to anal hair. They are much straighter as I pulled one out of my girlfriend bottom last night. The anal hair appears to be even thinner once you remove traces of toilet paper off.
