what I loved so much about the opening scene, is how frightened Christ was at what he knew was coming (death). It just made him so much more human, so much easier to love.
When I saw the film for the first time and Satan appears on screen, a massive chill went down my spine. I'm not easily scared and have seen a lot of horror movies.
This is hands down, one of the scariest scenes of all time.
He conquered evil face to face in his weakest moments two times. In the garden en on the cross. And all for us. He knew he was going to die but did it as a sacrifice. Not many of us can do that, actually none. This scene is a reminder in normal life we have to do the same. Once evil confronts us, makes us doubt, tries to scare us (in our nightmares), makes us think negative, we have to deny it and chase it with the power of the Lord. Evil can attack but never conquer!

God said one of his angels would betray him, and satan prayed that his brothers would be faithful to god. he didnt include himself in the prayer because he thought he was out of harms way (pride). Rosalinda's performance as Satan in this movie was amazing. Her body language, the intesity in her eyes, and the way she spoke while delivering her lines made the scene terrifying without being overdramatic. In my opinion, she played the roll of the Devil much better than any other actor I've seen and she should've won an award for it.
The movie only lists Rosalinda as the actor for Satan and doesn't credit anyone else as being the voice so I'm assuming it was her voice. However, they could have altered it slightly to make it sound more masculine but as far as I know that's her real voice.

True, it is unsettling. But you have to consider how the Last Days were kinda undermined by media portrayal. They had to tone it down so that young kids wouldn't grow up with such a vivid image of brutality. As human logic grows, the explanations become increasingly more convenient, the rules change to allow different people to come into different positions of power- and because people have felt comfortable with it for so long, people who are otherwise rational and intelligent seriously consider that there might be an invisible man who lives in the sky and grants their wishes.
You don't see a trend for that in science? Don't you think the concepts in religion were, at one time, too coincidental to primitive observation to be just superstition?
I believe the same exact thing will happen to our 'logic' - it is simply another result of the way in which we observe and analyze things.
Except that science is ever more piling on evidence- everything from the fact that the earth is round, to Newton, to Einsteins relativity- it's all been or is being proven. Forever, while science has been evolving based on evidence and what we've observed with enhanced, developed intelligence, religion has only changed when it's leaders wanted it to. No, god did not come to all the people in the world and say "it's okay to eat shellfish now!"- or "The pope is the closest to me now!"
Guess what?? Science just ignores the questions that make it absolutely irrelevant. Nobody needs science to live their life - no other animal ever in existence ever needed it, for billions of years. It's the burden of our intelligence.
I'm sorry, there is a difference between relevance and accuracy. No one needs religion to live their lives- and in fact, something tells me we would enjoy our lives much more without it.

Barabbas was a criminal sentenced to die by crucifixion, and the crowd had a choice to either release him or Jesus Christ. Their hatred for Christ was so intense that they chose to release Barabbas so that Jesus' crucifixion would be carried out. (I really don't know why this was uploaded without subtitles. I don't understand why many ppl are amazed about the way satan is portrayed in this movie. Remember Lucifer was one of (if not the highest) Angel (Arc Angel) in heven. Besides the cruxifiction another aspects that are falsely portrayed in Christ movies. Never in the bible does it say, the devil tempted Christ when praying in the garden of Getsame and changed in a snake. It just says He prayed 3 times and came back to his disciples who where sleeping. It is sad the bible is so often misintrepreted by man to give a wrong image to (non) believers or skeptics. When I saw the film for the first time and Satan appears on screen, a massive chill went down my spine. I'm not easily scared and have seen a lot of horror movies.

He conquered evil face to face in his weakest moments two times. In the garden en on the cross. And all for us. He knew he was going to die but did it as a sacrifice. Not many of us can do that, actually none. This scene is a reminder in normal life we have to do the same. Once evil confronts us, makes us doubt, tries to scare us (in our nightmares), makes us think negative, we have to deny it and chase it with the power of the Lord. Evil can attack but never conquer!

I first watched it when I was six (I WANTED to, I wasn't FORCED) .
I didn't understand it, but now that I've studied Christianity more deeply, I understand it better. The Satan scenes are my favorites, along with the scene of Judas' torment. Satan's voice is fucking epic! I just love it when he/she says "No, never." I really like how they portrayed Satan as an androgynous figure instead of a masculine man.

God said one of his angels would betray him, and satan prayed that his brothers would be faithful to god. he didnt include himself in the prayer because he thought he was out of harms way (pride). Rosalinda's performance as Satan in this movie was amazing. Her body language, the intesity in her eyes, and the way she spoke while delivering her lines made the scene terrifying without being overdramatic. In my opinion, she played the roll of the Devil much better than any other actor I've seen and she should've won an award for it.

The movie only lists Rosalinda as the actor for Satan and doesn't credit anyone else as being the voice so I'm assuming it was her voice. However, they could have altered it slightly to make it sound more masculine but as far as I know that's her real voice.

I think they chose a woman to play Satan because people usually interpret the Biblical Satan as being extraordinarily beautiful and women tend to have finer features than men. Rosalinda has a kind of androgynous look so they probably picked her because she could pass for a beautiful man . Whatever the reason, I'm glad they did because she rocked the part.^__^

"Allah" is just the word for the title of God in a couple middle eastern languages, Aramaic and Farsi for example. The reality is that what Muslims call "Allah", Jews call "Jehovah" and we call "God the Father". I think what a lot of people fail to realize is that religion is completely based upon belief and faith. So why are so many people on this video trying to use logic to disprove religion? Lol, its always funny to come to a video and see people who want to mock religion use logic as a weapon, but fail, therefore making themselves look stupid and ignorant.

True, it is unsettling. But you have to consider how the Last Days were kinda undermined by media portrayal. They had to tone it down so that young kids wouldn't grow up with such a vivid image of brutality. I'm 14 years old, but I know for a fact that if I'd seen this at a younger age, I would've probably been overwhelmed.

Yeah it is a very good point. Abraham is the only man in history to have created a culture that believed in one god that was not to be worshiped by ideal. In old days, people of israel used to assemble in the temple on the day of passover. The main priest used to sacrifice an innocent lamb for the sins of the people on that day. Similarly, Christ, who was also killed during the passover day, is the innocent lamb of God. Due to his sufferings, God is pleased and agrees in everything with him. So, for those who believe in him, obey his rules and who repents will have eternal life.

We should not worship a false, invisible and such a destructive deity that brings some much anguish to our society. We must worship the human race and treat mother nature with the respect and awe it deserves. We have forgotten our identity and let our greed for money and possesions and our stubborness to believe in a God we ourselves created in ancient times to explain things we couldnt explain then, take us to the brink of extinction. Also the opening of this video is a distortion of Isaiah 53. Isaiah here is referring to the Jewish people, they are the suffering servant talked about in this passage. I will give any arguement for God, and my argument is simple h2o water. Water is a unique phenomenon and given it's properties should not act the way if does, you see when water freezes in the winter it should freeze from the bottom up, which would kill all life living in that water. However it's unique water freezes from the top in the winter allowing life in the water underneath. From a biological standpoint this is baffling which points to Intelligent design

You believe that god worked in concert with our current theories on the creation of the world based on a simple, innocent look at the situation, but the bottom line is a lot of threads and a lot of concepts hit a dead end where they don't really so far in fields such as particle physics (super gravity). The concept of a divine being who's very existence contradicts itself (He's all powerful, all perfect, all knowing, and all omniscient- but he feels anger, fear, and happiness) doesn't fit neatly

I believe a slightly misquoted but still existent quote from the bible used in Pulp Fiction explains this scenario- "and I will strike down upon him with great VENGEANCE AND FURIOUS ANGER". And besides, why is the fact that the bible said it a usable fact? A valid point? A piece of fiction written by people with no medical, scientific, or educational background up to date with modern, fact-based understanding 2000 years ago is hardly reliable testimony, as far as I'm concerned.

if you look at the original Hebrew, the used for day means one actual 24 hour time period. Theres no way it could be thousands of years.

Um Dude there is nowhere in the biblke where it says that God created the world in six 24 hr days in fact if you can find a reference to any 24 hr day in the Old Testament let me know. There is no 24hr time period mentioned anywhere in the bible new or old don't lie

Why would it take an all-powerful infinite being who's so powerful that when his methods or blatant contradictions are questioned, the answer is always "it just is", take more than literally the tiniest moment imaginable (or perhaps, unimaginable) to create the world? And all the other worlds that we know exist- The Bible fails to mention those.

well why does God have to "rest"? The hebrew word used for rest is "shevat". Does an all-powerful God have to rest after creating the universe? Does that make sense? This was in fact a creation of jewish scribes and was a polemic against babylonian gods. Dear MrSingu, as your point of view is different so our is. But yes, we are children, children of God. When you read the Bible, you saw that there are a lot of prophets, who talk about Mesiah. These prophets tell exactly the truth, because thay have talked with the messengers of God - the angels or heared God's will. I know it's hard to reason with people whoms faith in God is so strong. Its like telling a child of 3 that Santa Claus doesnt exist. I have read the bible partially and the problem with that book is, or any other religous book for that matter, that it can be interpreted in any way you like it. The stories that are told about ancient times seem more like fiction than fact. All I'm asking is that you people think for yourselfs instead of the thinking be done for you. Its ignorant.

God MAY exist. But not in the form of a supreme being who judges us at death. If there is a God, he exists in the form of nature and time. Its foolish for a human to believe he can be a righteous man if he does what a 2000 year old book tells him to do. To be righteous is to be good in everything you do and not make exceptions. Do not judge people by what they are or do, look at yourself first. Do on to others, as we would have them do it to you. Jesus is not your savior, Logic is.

How is "He" inevitable? Is he inevitable because that is a very convienant thought for you? Is he inevitable because you WANT to think that when you die, worthless, cold and a nobody that there will be someone out there to love you? To help you? Because i think thats exacly what religion is. A distraction. A Distraction from how bad life really is, and to give you some hope in a hopeless world of something better.

What I want to think has nothing to do with reality. If you want to think that a bunch of coincidental and flawed set of physical laws came about for no particular reason, and that sounds okay to you, fine. Who created those laws? Who creates the laws in a computer program? Does the computer know who?

Unfourtunatly for you, you computer analogy has no merit. I am not a computer (But you must be, the way you correct grammar), so i cannot attest to that. And neither can you (Unless my above statement is true). Who created those laws? Nature created those laws, we simply interpret them.
You call physical law flawed? You have an entire religion based on one woman who really stuck to her story. You base all your "Evidence" of god on a book.

A computer is basically a series of on and off switches- transistors if you will. It is a tool- an extremely complex tool, but that's all it is. The mere fact that we are having this conversation disproves that we are tools, and instead that we are capable of true thought- and if we are capable of those things, by your logic, god doesn't exist.

religion is an all too convenient method for explaining everything that we couldn't once prove with logic. As human logic grows, the explanations become increasingly more convenient, the rules change to allow different people to come into different positions of power- and because people have felt comfortable with it for so long, people who are otherwise rational and intelligent seriously consider that there might be an invisible man who lives in the sky and grants their wishes.

Except that science is ever more piling on evidence- everything from the fact that the earth is round, to Newton, to Einsteins relativity- it's all been or is being proven. Forever, while science has been evolving based on evidence and what we've observed with enhanced, developed intelligence, religion has only changed when it's leaders wanted it to. No, god did not come to all the people in the world and say "it's okay to eat shellfish now!"- or "The pope is the closest to me now!"
