I've just started to study 3D engineering, and I'm relly just an amateur, so sorry, if I ask something lame :) : are these 3D printers compatible with Solidworks and Autocad? Can you export data from these to the printer software?

You probably can't.  It really depends on what machine you are using your software with.

software updates (both machine firmware and computer software) are usually provided for machines under maintenance contracts.
