There's nothin' like kitty-kat lovins' I was just combing through your Dumont stereo videos and low and behold this video was hiding amongst the Connie Stevens and the Lawrence Welk :) Oh and yes I was forced also to watch Lawrence Welk too as a kid, lol

@magpieeye well I'm glad you found it! Isn't he something else? We do this EVERY night when I get home. There are people who don't know how affectionate felines can be. Sure, they will disappear on us for hours and hide, but when they want lovin', wham! Haha so you had to watch LW too? At that time I thought it was so corny, now I love the re-runs. I am becoming my grandad! Eeek! :-)

How adorable! Mr Cooper sure loves you! He is so affectionate! I can't believe he's 31 lbs, yet looks smaller than 20 lb Sylvester. He must be just longer and bigger all around. He's so talkative too. I think he's saying, "I missed you!"

@rovan26 Isn't he a doll? I think he's saying that too, and "I'm glad you're home Dad"! Yes he's 31 lbs right now and I'm slowly getting him switched over to the weight control food, by mixing it in a little more at a time, so far so good. He is very large framed; he fills the wingback chair! And funny, he loves being picked up. But! I need both arms!

@desoto1961 They really do... 'non-cat' people never believe it ... until they see it. Cooper's breed (Maine Coon) is known for being dog-like - their size as well as characteristics - some will evenb fetch things. Hey! That gives me yet another idea LOL except knowing Coop he will be like 'up yours'

Priceless and precious! My friend says his cat Cookie, a tortoiseshell, goes into ecstacy when he's been gone a couple of days, even when his neighbor takes care of her. When he comes in, she will put her paws around his legs and try to hold on to him! You can tell he's purring while he's talking!

@VictrolaJazz Oh, when I have to travel for work he has an auntie and an uncle who babysit... but... I get the cold shoulder just the same when I get home. Coop tends to plunk himself down RIGHT in the middle of doorways, traffic paths, etc, they're really good at that. As I go by he smacks my leg with his paw! It is hilarious!

Aw, he's so cute!! The cat too! I had the volume turned up and Kitty's ears were perking up. She's way too lazy to get up and check it out tho! Cooper is a hoot! You've got to love the ones that talk to you.

@dewey70 Ooh, you bad. And I like it. Haha, funny when they hear other cats, they tune right in huh! He talks up a storm, in the mornings it's before the alarm goes off and I'm like will you SHUT UP already... hahahaha but I never get mad, he just wants attention and he gets it

@sideshowtink Fortunately he sleeps all day while I'm at work... I know because I leave a bit of food, and it's still there when I get home. He waits til I'm home and we eat together! He is very talkative, some nights I'll be sitting here and he won't stop. I wish I knew what they were saying!

Cooper is one spoiled kitty. When I lay in the floor using my back messager, it is no time until I have an audience, and couple on top of me back messager and all. I always have 2 or 3 beside me when on the couch watching TV. Callie is an outdoor cat by choice and is 15. She follows me all over the yard wanting attention. Cats are very affectionate.

@maynardcat He is terribly spoiled... yours sound like so much fun. People don't know how loving cats are, as long as they are loved! And they do crave attention. I've got Coop so spoiled, if I just walk in the door he will chase me around and actually try to bite for attention. I've created a monster LOL
