The Jam were just awesome, wasn't this song written when he was touring in America? He didn't like touring there lol

Plus when they recorded it Weller didn't want to sing it in front of everyone so he asked for the studio to be cleared when recording the vocals

The Jam never played it live.. but c'mon, its an awesome song and to hear Weller sing it live... Weller is one of the best musicians of all time and to coming up with a song like that just proves it!
