alright dude this is it im screwed i came to ask you before i give up.well a while back i tried hard modding my battery and broke it but now im trying my hand at soft modding,and it needs me put psp tools on my psp,but to install i need cfw or chickhen but the whole reason im doing all this is so i can get cfw,and so im resorting to chickhen but for chickhen i need 5.03 ofw but i have 6.?? and to go back i need a pandora wich is what im trying to make?????

@DarkRebel7575 what model psp you have? sounds like psp 1000? a pandora will downgrade any psp 1000 but not all others. 6.20 ofw has now been somewhat hacked with 6.20 TN-B released yesterday. HBL and Patapon 2 demo required but lots of work being done with it.

@DarkRebel7575 6.20 tn-b is technically cfw but not a complete hack like 5.00m33 was 6.20 is based from hbl and HEN where 5.00m33 made for psp 1000 etc was a cfw built from bottom up. with 6.20 tn-b u would get hb apps, hb games, emulators and there are 2 iso loaders to choose from

i didn't, yet the people who "HACKED" the psp call it a hack. even flashing new firmware is considered hacking it. if we are not supposed to do have these abilities with the system/ product it is a hack. crack is a widely used term for things that have been hacked.

the psp 3000 is not fully hacked but people can still play their pirated games on it and homebrew.

so now that the ps3 is "HACKED" are you going to tell them it's a crack?

@ReySmurf gen-c is the most up-to-date cfw for the psp 3000. chick hen r2 will not run iso/cso it is made to run homebrew which can install cfw to run the iso/cso

@ReySmurf yup, you need the psp to have 5.03 ofw, then add chick hen r2 and the 5.03 gen-c updater to psp/game folder. open pics and flash the chick hen r2 when that is running then use the 5.03 gen-c updater to get the cfw. it is a good idea to keep all these on the psp just in case the battery dies, etc. to keep the cfw on your psp and running make sure you have sleep mode set up and let the psp turn off on its own or just flick off the power.

@ReySmurf if your psp is unplugged for too long with cfw running you will have to redo chick hen r2 and the cfw updater. i have a video that shows how to get chick hen r2 to crash psp 100% everytime.

@agrumazescu just search the net for another 5.03 update and use the one that works, mine works on most but some people have had it say corrupted. make sure the eboot is in a folder named update and placed in the game folder.

yup if you read more comments or more about what you are adding to your psp, than you would know that psp 3000 cfw is not permanent. if you turn it off or the battery dies you will have to redo it. so just leave it in sleep mode make sure to check bettery levels. thanks
