Ok, I have the score with me right now and I'm pretty positive he's holding notes quarter notes and halfotes out fr four beats and while holding them he sound sounds like a sheep...... Other than that it was nice, but while some experimentation is acceptable in this kind of musical, he distorted it a bit too much. Good voice though!

He has great vibrato but he only got deeply into character near the end. I much preffer tim burtons version of it. I really think he should have shown more emotion throughout it all. I like how he switched moods so quickly it made him seem more insane where johnny depp appears more sane and abitious. Still superb 4/5.

I enjoy this performance, but for some reason it comes off as a tiny bit forced. Give this guy a year to work on his emotional flexibility and he'd be able to get this role perfect and make it seem like he really lost his marbles.

great acting Sweeney! i think Sweeney looks better with long hair(mostly because i have long hair) but it fits the character of the legend. supposedly, Sweeney was supposed to have a bushy mane in which he kept his scissors combs and things. so this works really well.

I hate the band in the background, either they are playing to loud or whoever playing Ms. Lovett is speaking to low. And when the drums came in, it was sickening. But besides that, I loved his performance, so much emotion.

Too be honest I am very cynical, but this was a very good mix of all the versions of sweeney I have seen. If only the orchistra didn't suck, everything would be better than any version I have seen, wish I could have seen it in person. Most people made versions I have seen suck, this was probably the best non official version out there.
