  • they look like they are upsidedown

  • Ps, I speak from experience on that particular set up, but I would suggest modifying the carrier to a piece of round plate, watching the video those blades definitely need turning over

  • There is supposed to be a short section between the carrier and the actual blades. Also, for that gearbox I believe the blades need to be turned over

  • @charlieben1974 i agree

  • a lot of brush hogs have chains for the blades, instead of actual blade. Also, i couldn't help but wonder if the blades were installed backwards (that cutting edge caught me off guard too). My brother uses his to cut down 2 inch thick sucker trees. it doesn't miss a beat. Keep the RPMs high and gear low.

  • good to see ya back in action, idk but i think the blades are to short.

  • try those blades for now my great grandpa had a bush hog like that for the vac and i cant ever recall seeing it used. i almost think it was too much mower for the tractor. the narrower the blade width the less power you will need to run it so its probably good for that tractor the way it is.

  • Yep they do pivot to take impact, the blades look kinda short, Is that just 3/8 mild steel?
