One could argue that he was an "enter your own name" character, but so were Link, Ness, and Lucas. At any rate, I think in whatever the next Smash game is, they need to make May a playable character with Mudkip, Grovyle, and Blaziken. It would be within the same realm as Red but have enough of a difference to not be considered a duplicate.

It might be important to know that Squirtle's Withdraw (side + B) makes it invulnerable and Charizard's Fly (up + B) makes it immune to flinching for a brief period of time.

It really is a matter of preference but if you can catch them at point blank range, you can deal alot of damage. Although this is no Zero laser or Light arrow (which have more knockback) it still has a high maximum damage with good range. You wanna see disappointing, use Peach.

1) have any of yall noticed that in the show, squirtle is cute and cuddley but in the game he is this huge monster that like goes to the trainers shoulders.
