  • what's with the voicings on piano??

  • To grab this mp3 go to easymp3grab doht cohm.

  • Cannonball Adderley and now, Vincent Herring! I love this guy's playing. Great Hank Mobley song!

  • guess they couldn't afford a light for the leader...

  • A nice reminder of the composer, who wears better for my money than any saxophonist who ever lived--Hank Mobley. What a misfortune that no video appears to exist of him anywhere. I couldn't catch Hank live until the '70s, and he was fried and incoherent (even after 1965 he starts to lose it). But 1955-1965 the personification, the essence of melody, inventiveness, and soul is Hank Mobley.

  • Vincent Herring does true justice to this wonderful jazz standard. Great band backing him.

  • Vincent Herring is great!

  • wow, he really has a lovely sound

  • True, Vincent's playing has such soul and character and passion...

  • I love "where" Vincent Herring plays things on the time....such solid lyricism ..and Yoich kabashi is burnin and Anthony Wonset has that older Wynton Kelly/Red Garland root in straight ahead bebop....great vid. Thanks!

  • What I dig the most about Vincent's playing is that it's unmistakably unique and full of passion. One is just naturally reeled in note by note...
