Hey 5odude, Ya hear Hammer did a gig on 1360am w/Big Dick Hunter on the 4pm-6pm slot? I missed it, but will try to catch the next. Heard they did a pretty good show.
Huggy Bear lost his gig with ESPN radio Dallas/May 09'. Something bout incoherent speak dring shaoww er somting... What a effin shame. Such great talent wasted to perscription drug abuse.
I stand corrected. I got confused with his admission of illegal drug use and the fact he was on meds for depression. I need to slow down on the bong... maybe!
It was alleged, by a number of people, that he spent alot of time in the Cedar Springs/Oaklawn area using coke. Money says it is true that he is was a closet homosexual...
wow that is a damn shame. i used to listen to hardline everyday, literally. the show will never be the same w/ mike and greggo together. they should let bygones be bygones. life is too short.
Greggo got hooked on coke and pain killers...again...then he quit, and I heard (don't hold this agianst me) that he is trying to get a show or be part of a show on ESPN 103.3 FM in DFW.
Yea, was it not great listening to a guy who made alot of money, lived on Turtle Creek, and had a sweet radio gig talk about his drug addiction and then just disappearing from the airwaves on more than one occasion and wondering where he was and if he was coming back? Aww, the good old days.
Greggo did this himself. He pissed all his talent away to drugs. He did this to himself he has no to blame but himself. The Ticket tried to be patient and tried to reach out to him and instead just threw back in their faces.
Listener since within 6 months of the inception of the station. This is a sad day for the ticket. Nothing to say really. No disrespect to Mike, he is AWESOME too. But Hammer, you were the heart of the Hardline. Thanks for all the laughs over the years. The best of luck in all your future endeavors.
I have been a strong, loyal P1 since the 1st day The Ticket roared across the radio waves in 1994 and to know that "Greggo", "The Hammer", "Robot Greggo", "Sweet Greggo", "Mototcycle Greggo", "Hazmat Uniform Greggo" and all of the other greatness of Greg Williams will not be back on The Ticket is just HEARTBREAKING and HEART WRENCHING and I'm totally stunned and numb by it...You were the best Greggo....

Guess Greggo went over to the "coke compound" as he used to call it, once too often. Amazing how used to dog Mike Irvin all the time.
