I was just searching for Meryl's long closeup scene, the one where her face fills the whole screen, and she tells the whole story, which is about the finest cinema example EVER! Its her at her absolute best. For me, she's never done a finer scene.
But what I found HERE, is a really well crafted tribute, to one of the greatest films of all time. Nice job!
this is so perfect, normally accompany a classic with a chart song and it doesn't work- this is just the right balance to make it perfect and wonderful, the song describes her choice and the pain that is unexplainable and the non existant state she faces post Aushwitz.

the author of the book really did go to ny and live in a house with other tenants...and he was especially interested/mezmerized by this woman who was a holocaust survivor, but he felt from the moment he met her she was doomed.

You know I thought when I read Sophies's Choice and Keep Bleeding that this was going to be a horrible travesty, but you have created something which is masterful in it's emotional effect and it's a truly superb choice. Quite amazing.Thank you so much.
From what I understand she got false teeth not for the accent but because having been in a concentration camp for so long, her teeth would probably have weakened to the point of needing false teeth. A lot of people coming back from the war had to deal with this.
Absolutely amazing. I thought it was a bit of a weird combination at first, "Bleeding Love" and "Sophie's Choice" , but you did a wonderful job. A very touching video!
