Aino, I love that beautiful piece of art.

But, three things sucks with it. Touchscreen is only available in media mode, you need to have the slider open when you play games (even if it has a motion sensor, and it sucks to play games with 23 buttons underneath your right thumb), and the t9 function is completely stupid, because it takes all the letters in alphabetical order, with the Swedish (I live in Sweden) special letters before the letters you use more often. But, I still love the Aino. <3

Funny thing is , There are certain applications which allows you to put Aino into a Full Touch Screen Capabilities Like the Opera 5 Mini Beta And The Snaptu application , So I don't know why Sony doesn't want to make it full Touch too .

well i dont think its worth spending $500 more for the Satio when all it has is a better camera lol. where im from its $999 for aino and $1499 for satio. and i've only just turned 15 so i dont see the point in spending that much more when i like the aino more :). hope that explains it.

aino ftw :D having a touch screen now, not SE, but full-touch is not the best choise in the world IMO. yari looks weird, satio is a calling camera, aino is kinda made the best choise for rly multimedia, it has music, a fine camera, both touch screen and keypad. good guys in SE did a nice thing when they added aino and yari to the satio release

I'm really looking forward to the Aino because I have a PS3 and I'd love to be able to access my PS3 multimedia from anywhere. 8mpx camera is more than enough and the phone itself looks great.

The Satio has a much sleeker UI, bigger screen and crazy 12mpx camera but I'm not too fond of the phone's design, especially the sides. Still, it's my second choice.

I also really like the Yari. Obviously the features are a lot less impressive but the design itself is pretty cute.

I'd say their hardware more so as they keep cranking out all those terrible feature phones(walkman line although the W900i was fantastic) when a lot of people are moving onto smart phones and want to be able to do more. With that said, if the specs on the Xperia 2 and 3 are to be believed they should be great devices.

Go to the site of sony ericsson and compare.

The two obvious differences are the camera (Idou/Satio 12mp, Aino 8mp) and the screen (Satio 3.5", Aino 3.0"). The Aino is delivered with a Bluetooth (so it's wireless) in-ear headphone, but the Satio with normal (not even in-ear) headphones. Both with 8GB card though. They'll be available in september or october along with the Yari. The Aino is made more for music. Oh and one BIG difference: The Aino is not full-touch. The Satio is.

SE will continue to lose since they are insisting on using their proprietary port, low resolution displays and outdated video recording. In addition, those to "EU" phones do not have stereo speakers.

Aino's 3" FWQVGA display is not impressive at all and it is a two-year old feature. It could have been larger. S001 has a 3.3 FWVGA 854×480 AMOLED display and an external d-pad!.

They will continue to lose since they are providing all their tech to Japan.

The OS. I guess SF wasn't ready but even when it is it will just be S60 with a different name. If you want a good TS phone then iphone is the way to go or even Android. Android isnt quite there yet but the HTC Hero looks good.
