I believe me having this problem with the shape and colour of the sound... I think I drop my tongue a little and I don't hear the richness in the tones, maybe lacking certain overtones.

I play in the Swedish Army Band and have pro-teachers but I want to hear your opinion on what to do. For me it doesn't work with painting a picture in my head and then play like the picture... Do you have any physical hints, tips or exercises for me? I want to improve my shape and colour of the tones. Thanks
