I know this is a true story and what the guy went through was horrible, so disrespect to him, but I didn't really care for this movie. It's really boring and weird. Half of it is just his hallucinations and recording some weird talk show on his camera. Also, I didn't think James did an Oscar nominated worthy performance, Ryan Reynolds did a far far far better job in Buried.

There are many errors in this film, but the one which gets me the most is the one at the end. He meets another group of explorers and asks if they have a phone and they say "Yes, but no signal."...in which case, how do they manage to call for a chopper? Any ideas, or am I missing something?

@RelativeBadger I don't think they called for a chopper. It was the rescue crew who were probably notified by his boss. He mentions that the search & rescue team always searches 24 hours after the initial contact.

The award for best actor should've gone to James Franco, but as we all know, you can only win if you're very likeable to the public. Stoner James Franco just isn't that person. This is my fav movie of the last two years, but you really can't see it with a girl. Some of the scenes are really heavy on the stomach. That has mostly to do with James Franco's convincing acting skills.
