Man are fascinated by the beauty of nature, yet he continue to contruct poisoned cities where the nature is totally destroyed and the garbage, well it ends up in those spectacular places that are shown in the video. We live in paradise, but why don't we realize that this little planet, could be the only place in the universe where there is life. Appreciate your life, and the nature around you, because it is one of a kind.
After two years I read my own comment and as those two years ago, my heart beats quickly while I watch this video. It is like taking a look into a promise land, a home that I lost my way to. I feel like crying because I miss it so much, because I know that even when I am living on this planet, I will probably never see most of these places and it is such shame, because it would be something to die for.

It makes me genuinly angry when people tie nature in with religion/God..when after watching this video all they can say is..God is amazing.. NO! Nature is amazing, our planet is amazing.. the creatures on it are amazing.. the fact that this blue marble came to be at all is amazing but it's all natural.. theres nothing supernatural about it and that to me that makes it 100% more impressive.
@kadosiable And God who created this earth is amazing!! and it will be even more amazing when all christians will be with him when this earth is over... enjoying on a even more beautiful earth, wich is probably unthinkable at this moment.
@kadosiable Well said mate. That constant urge to relate everything to God is fondamentally a subconscious product of people's fear of mortality. I say it is better not to invent another life which may never exist but to live fully this one which has already everything to offer for happiness.
@gapicek colonialism and imperialism is war. many wars seem to be about religion on the surface, but almost every one has it's origins in an empire's conquest - often leaving behind corruption, inequality, ethnic and political divisions in it's wake. religion is an extremely useful colonial tool though.
Intensive agriculture is one of the banes of human kind. the planting and irrigation and fertilization of not good enough soil. Pesticides and insectizides. Monsanto with Round-up, GMOs ...

Imagine the last days of earth when an asteroid is about to destroy the planet. All our unique animals, plants and insects including us, gone. eradicated.
We should appreciate how unique we are and what we have.
Humans are sometimes so stupid that i cant help asking why. They knew the earth would die someday because of the destructions their causing. I can feel it. One day, the Earth will rot and everything that we do will kill us. I really want to help to share this with the world. Let them understand that the Earth is not taken for granted. The wars, cars, factories, pollution. And global warming.
One of God's natures by definition is being eternal. Atheists and theists agree with that definition. Thus, God has no creator. God has always been there.
Firstly, apologies for my dreadful spelling. Next, despite my awful spelling, we were talking about a 'creator'. You seem to have taken it upon yourself to introduce the G-word. So why not lend a 'helping hand' and butt out.
This world and any worlds at that is to complex to have intelligent design by a "creator". This world has been here for millions of years going through constant changes that the laws of nature have created for it.
I'm not putting down anyone's religion or faith but you really need to look past the fact that we people think we are different from any other species on this planet. We are nothing but a product of evolution. In my eyes that is more special than being "created".
I think you are assuming that evolution disproves God. However, evolution cannot work without an uncaused cause (God). That is, every material thing has to have a beginning. I believe God guided the creation of the world through evolution using the laws of nature.
Well I'm not saying that's not true but according to bibles and creationism god created the world 5,000 or so years ago and evolution disproves that and many other things along with that.
There is nothing wrong with believing that god created evolution, I'm not trying to put you down. But as of right now the belief in a higher being is under much scrutiny and there is no evidence keeping it alive, just faith which can only go so far.
I respectfully disagree. Bible does not teach 6000 year old creationism. That comes from the literal reading of Bible throughProtestantism. From the beginning, it was reasoned (St. Augustine, for eg) that the creation took ages
Through reasoning, ontology, and modal considerations, there is more evidence to belief in God than evolution. This is not to say that evolution does not have proof, but that the existence of God has that much more proof
Thank you for being considerate of other viewpoints
Evolution is 100% true, as far as how we got to this point evolution is the front runner. talk to any scientist or researcher and they will tell you that. I'm reading a book right now by Jerry Coyne and it is called why evolution is true.
This book shows exactly what it title says. So much is going for evolution and virtually nothing going against it.
To say the existence of god has more proof is completely absurd. Its time to get into this new era, evolution is true without help of a creator.
I never said evolution wasn't true. It is true. However, nothing cannot be brought about from nothign. Everything needs a beginning. Thus, tracing evolutions backwards, there must be a starting point. That starting point is God. God by definition is eternal among other things.
Well okay, its alright that you say that. Although to just say everything needs a starting point so then god must have created is very out there.
There are other theories as to how the earth was created and how it all started and right now there is much more proof regarding those than your theory.
If you can prove your theory to me with scientific evidence I would then gladly believe your theory then debate other people on youtube about this stuff.
Actually there are no theories on what started the big bang among other things. Remember also, evolution only answers life on earth. The rest of the universe is not accounted for through evolution. Big bang created earth and other planets, and in earth, life came to be. However, there is no explanation as to what caused the big bang. Moreover, the fact that the universe is expanding shows that it all started from a very very dense molecule of sorts, which in turn shows the need for a superpower.
Uncaused cause is not illogical. Why do I know this? Everything needs a beginner. Thus, the first cause must be uncaused. The notion of God by definition is "eternaL" among other things. (I'm a Philosophy student).
Evolution doesn't disprove God, but instant creation in six 24 hr days. "Purposeful design" is a tricky phrase. To say God literally created everything, no. To say evolution was guided, however, is not contradictory with the nature of God.
I'm talking about God in the general sense (eternal, omnipotent, omnibenevolent, omnipresent, etc.). Everything MATERIAL needs a beginner. I should've emphasized it. God is by nature not of material.
Truth doesn't change just because you call it something else.
My definition is perfectly compatible with the argument I am making.
A mechanism is not NECESSARY for an omnipotent God, but such a being can choose to use a mechanism. The argument is sound and valid.
Immaterial CAN interact with the material with or without being detectable. An analogy would be the interaction of wind with solid objects like plants and animals. You cannot see the wind, but you can see its effects.
it would seem pointless if these gods want to be recognize for what they done.specially creating Supernova that give birth to galaxies and can destroy us all. last time i check you said he is omnibenevolent
.
that is a false analogy
winds by there very nature is material. winds is that flow of air molecules or molecules in motion do are earth atmosphere. molecules are detectable, they are physical. or you forgot?
and your saying "without" detection but then they produce an effect?
There is nothing wrong with creator wanting recognition for his creation. However, because of free will, he is not forcing it upon us. We can see it through reason.
Analogy by definition is not exactly similar. My primary point was the type of interaction. Not the "immaterial nature" of wind, which I agree is material. (Wind cannot be seen with naked eyes, but can be experienced.)
I was saying, immaterial things can be undetected but can still produce an effect.
Just because I know a rainbow is refracted light on water droplets, doesn't mean it is any less beautiful to me. Whats more, I have greater reason to marvel at it.
I love Documentary series. For example, Planet Earth. My Father & I love to watch documentary series especially animals. Actually, we know that the world we re living is beautiful but, we just don't know. So I want to say a very big Thank You to BBC for making a wonderful trip that they will never forget and is undescribed. Good Job. Thumbs up!!
We are so wrapped up in our bullshit, trivial lives, we can't see the forest for the trees.
I think I'd be happier being homeless and wandering the wilds(for my inevitably short life in such an occasion) and seeing these great wonders than destroying them for crude oil, or bayside homes, or whatever it is people think they need.
Personally, I am thankful for such a beautiful world we've been given. Its a good sight better than mars, at any rate ;)

Good Job. Thumbs up!!

What abject beauty.
