The squid are here in full force off of our local waters in Cali. There are thousands of them stacked up on the Inner and north end of the 9 mile bank. They are a big problem here because they are just killing everything. I'm glad that the sport boats started hammering them.

This could all be possible due to the effects of Global Warming. Since ocean currents are changing slowly, food and prey may not be available for them where they are originally from. Maybe they're just trying to find a new place for some food.
