Whats the approach speed with full flap in the 22?
In the 20 G3 GTS i've flown its been around 75 knots which I found considerably fast after flying a Warrior! I'm on a C172 now which I find nicer for training.
@asif555b The Cirrus is equipped with Sirius/XM radio, and it plays, but goes silent when someone talks on the radio, and gets quiet when you talk on the intercom.
Love the video. Had to turn the volume off because of that overgrown 7th grader in the right seat (obnoxious). I want one of those planes so bad and your video just makes my envy / covet that much greater. Good flying and you have a real grasp of the navs
Amen on the 7th grader in the right seat. I would also slap his hand when he reached ever so confidently for my avionics.
I actually felt a little stressed watching this, imagining having that jackass sitting in my cockpit. The pilot ought to have declared an emergency I think, and gotten on the ground as soon as possible in order to disgorge his cocky passenger!
Hey, fun video. Can you tell me how you edited the song to fade lower when there was conversation in your video? I also like to add music but don't want to record over our in-flight recordings. Thxs
Well the Cessna 400 is a great plane indeed...very direct and true feeling /feedbacl when flying it AND the speed 235 kn is just insane for a SEP fixed gear. The Cirrus though has ONE really BIG ADVANTAGE in my eyes an that is that the latest models of the SR22 are CERTIFIED FOR KNOWN ICING not that I wanna fly in there but sometime it happens and well I feel that is just missing in the 400...IFR is senseless without that!
Know what you're saying... the 400's do come with a nearly identical system though, a dealer told me that the reason the 400 isnt FIKI approved is simply because Cessna doesent want their customers to fly a single piston engine into ice - quite understandably. I do think the TKS sys is a bit more beefed up in the Cirrus though? Both planes should manage ice as well as a single piston can, with the Cirrus keeping it legal - just watch out for false safety. I prefer the 22GTS over the 400 anyway.
Your friend is sooo annoying and his big head keeps getting in the way of the camera, can he just shut up for a second. Anyway, I like your flying and video. Thank You for the great time.
Hey, would you mind sharing how you mounted your camcorder to record your flight? I'd like to do the same thing in a friend's SR20 G3 the next time we go up.
This video cracked me up!!! Got the hots for Miss GarminG1000 huh? lol My question for you is have you flown the Cessna 400 (formerly Columbia) If so, how would you compare it with the Cirrus turbo GTS??

is it hard to fly the plane if your right handed
bob543213 2 years ago
You usually fly planes with your left hand because the throttle is located in the center

Im gonna have to call bs on a 25,000 ft. run with no oxygen? Granted the plane does have built in oxygen system, but masks are required..
Jonathankehrer 2 years ago
This video only includes portions of the flight at or below 1,000 feet. (hence the terrain warnings)

Their brochure tell that Turbos MOA is 25k feet, so..

@Jonathankehrer
He cant put the masks away when he gets lower? Im gonna have to call your negative BS- tool.

He was listening to music in the plane. That plane has XM radio. And it fades out when you are talking.
