@PontVedra This is a modified recipe given to me years ago from one of my friends grandmother. She was born in Sicily, The original is hand written by her on a old red sauce stained sheet of paper
I made an attempt tonight at making spaghetti and meatballs with sausage. I used some of your tips but I really was crunched for time so I had no time to make my own meatballs or sauce. Still came out pretty good. Need to try it your way soon when I got time
Have you tried the two bowl 10 second shake to peel the garlic toes yet? It works great. There are vids on here showing it. Perfect for the lazy cook like me.

I too feel, that ya never can have enough garlic in foods and when ya mentioned "garlic flavored coffee". . . . well, I made me a cup with two smashed toes in the grinds (didn't add milk like I usually do though) and WOW! Mmm, mmm, good. Just had a hint of garlic flavor and the slightest of smell to it.
I'm going to try this one ..I'll let you know how it turns out..
