I used to love this game back in the day. But dear god, the pro players are overpowered. It's like using legendaries in pokemon.

Call me old-school, but the series was much MUCH better with hand-drawn characters and made-up teams as well as made up players. It added realism to the game, something these later games do not have. It's almost like Infogames is trying to compete with EA or something.

Yeah, but it's a totally different game. Like Sandlot Sluggers?? That's not Backyard baseball to me. Pablo and all the characters look different, and not just like the style of animation but like a new person. Dimitri Petrovich, the fat ginger nerd, is some skinny normal looking guy. I miss the old school games back from the early 2000's
