Dissapointed though I am in Haruhi's second season, I'd heard that was due to the producers at Kadokawa rather than KyoAni itself. (While I'm not to fond of the art shift, it's not too bad and I wouldn't call it show-breaking.)

KyoAni's made too many good things for me to want to say that it's their bomb unless I'm sure.

same voice actor. Tomokazu Sugita did Kyon (Haruhi), Yuiichi and Tomoya (Clannad). Though he does sound a lot like Kyon as Yuiichi, whereas in Clannad his voice does sound noticeabily different.

@toojsneej74 It's taboo, my friend. Europeans and Americans have come to think that the only good thing that comes from Japan is all the appliances and cybernetic stuff they make. Also, I think the Visual Novels are the real things. THe animes are there just because they're more accessible than the VNs. Real shame the only Japanese games that made a name for themselves in the West are Final fantasy and that zombie survival game with that motocross guy. Oh well, we're the ones who know. Hail Key.

The first one was made around 2000, and had 13 episodes.

The second anime series came out in 2006-2007, and has 24 episodes. This is the series these excerpts are from. It is also the better series of the two.
