  • aliderkrasse is right. You can't say that they operated without drawing from mythology. In fact, many of them used mythological concepts in their works (see Anaximander's choice of the four elements derived from the apeiron, or you could look at how closely religious ceremony was intertwined with philosophy in the Pythagorean school).

  • duuuuude... HeraclitUs and not "HeraclitIs"... PYthagoras and not "PAthagoras"... if you already have typos in your description, you are clearly indicating a huge lack of knowledge about this topic. To say that these philosophers were not influenced by mythology, or that they worked "exclusively" from mythology is just plain ignorant to the topic.
