  • the robot will go like "you are get the fuck out my face" punch or theyll be waatchin a movie and hell go get me a soda and hell be like fuck no its the good part

  • LMAO

  • the only problem is that this video could very easily be faked. because its just a voice thats heard which could easily have been some nutty guy hiding in the corner with a mic. but i believe its real as its probably not hard these days to come up with face recognition

  • But can it see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

  • bet it could cinnamon toast your crunch monkeymech REEM rules, just listen to his name,

  • LOL

  • that's cool.

  • Where do you engineers come from? I mean which school (CMU???)? And which degree do you have? a Masters, a PhD???

  • ¿Where do you buy this robot? i give everything for buy this robot.. ¡Is Nice!

  • they built it ...

  • hola como me a gustado mucho tu video. Lo he enlazado en mi blog. h t t p://herenciaespanola.blogspot.c o m

    Gracias.

  • Good robot. Will the robot still recognise if one is laughing or one is sticking tongue out?

  • the algorithm is still robust if the person is smiling, but probably it would fail if the person stick out the tongue

  • Astonishing! also cute in a way, like a baby who speaks like an adult.

  • awesome.. i've same idea.. may i know what algorithm used by REEM-A for face recognition? is it eigenface or..

  • The next famous humanoid robot ever! Congrats on your hard worked robot. It might as well go in the ranks just as ASIMO. Hope your experiment is succesful later on in the years.

  • I hope that you don't go by the way of the Japanese robot. They dance and do a lot of sissy stuffs on exhibits.I am aware that these are intended to prove the dexterity, control, and precision. But think of something else.

  • thats creepy, but amazing

  • its great.

  • Very nice humanoid! Are you selling or leasing the REEM-A yet? Is it programmable using the new Microsoft Robotics Studio?

  • At the moment the REEM-A run on Linux only. We are considering to rent/sell the second prototype, REEM-B, that will be presented at the end of 2007.
