Since popular bran cereal (Bran Flakes, All Bran...) already contain sugar and the protein powder contains plenty of sweetener, I'm thinking you could do without the added sweetener. Or, add some dried apricots or natural prune juice in the mix. Also, to increase the protein amount, you could add some walnuts too.
Does this Recipe only make four muffins? I guess i'd double the recipe to make more... Keep up the great videos i have made most of your recipes and enjoyed them all.. Well Done!!!
Hey Michael. Huge fan of you, but I've always wondered. Is Stevia/Splendia kcal free? I've only found sweeteners with about 50% less kcal then sugars but I don't think it's the same thing.
@Willy1234525 to clear things up. The FDA classifies foods with 0 calories, as foods that have less than 2 calories per serving. Therefore, Stevia/Splenda could have .1 to 1.9 calories per serving. You'd have to get in contact with the company because I can't find any exact results.
can u please just show yourself eating it or just taking a bite at it in the end for all your future recipes, and tell us genially genuinely how it tastes. seriously.
Mine came out a bit hard and not very sugary.(ima try again tomorrow tho) I also added a bit of milk as well. is that all right or does that change the consistency?
@leanbodylifesytle Yeah I understand, and last bit of a critiscism. Is there anyway that you can add some sort of a end calorie count and protein count to your meals. It would be very useful to me and im sure to lot of other people too. Thank you :)
Im not trying to be mean, im a huge fan of yours and do a lot of your recipes im just trying to leave some criticism. I made these and tbh, I couldnt eat them. Not trying to be a troll just tasted too floury and not sweet at all to me. Keep up with the good work though.
@fallensk8rbn19 - Hmm...mine tasted pretty good. Maybe add a bit more sweetener next time or protein powder & less oats. It's really all trial and error with these recipes for me...sometimes it takes a few times to get it right, you know?
Hey man i really do love your videos. but i have not tried out any of recipes yet, i just watch those videos. but now i will go and try this one out my self. i just wanted to mention that it would be great if in the end of video u could give some nutrition facts about how big is the serving size and how much cals, carbs and protein is in one serving size. i know i know that it takes a bit more of your time. but it really would help me out.
Hey, what was that sweetner you used. I couldn't quite make out what it was, and I don't think you said??? I'll def try this out...blueberry muffins are my favorites.
These muffins sound great! Finally you have posted some baked goods. I wonder if you could make something like this in a loaf pan? Maybe with bananas for banana bread? Or even without the fruit and just use it to make sandwiches with. I guess it would be sort of sweet though. Anyway, nice video!
i think it is funny how ppl complain about you using protein powder? xD i mean come on xD u use ½ a scoop of vanilla protein powder :P when im gonna make this recipe myself i am gonna use atleast 2 rounded scoops if not more xD
buddy your outlook on making foods that mimic cheat meals really opens my mind to the possibilities of eating a healthy snack that taste amazing, great job man keep it up
@ayeo0itsbes - You could use chocolate if you wanted. I've got some other variations of this like banana nut or chocolate peanut butter that I could post up if you guys are interested.
protein powder is not meant to be for baking.. just doesnt turn out right.
