this is a great idea i am going to use for my art in nature kids...to use their scrapbook of the weeks they are with me...always looking for "cheep" inexpensive ways to intertain and recycle too...thanks
yeah someone from liverpool me to but i moved to widnes. like your idea must give it a go new to this so i am a beginner. i make cards & said i will never do scrapbooking. well here i am a new starter.lol pat x
Already having loads of pattern paper, card stock and lots of embellishments from my card making days as well from my 12x12 scrapbook kits and etc. I've been searching for how to make my own mini's from scratch using the supplies I already have on hand and to avoid buying those expensive kits. So thank you very much.
I like your album with the pockets.I was wondering if the face on your tag was a picture or a stamp? If it is a stamp can you tell me what it's called and where I can get it.Thanks(0:
very nice! When I saw that you had pockets, I was really hoping you'd show how to make a pocket because that's one thing I can't seem to find a whole lot of demonstration on. You did it, and I thank you.
Just loved listening to your lovely accent as well as enjoying the tutorial. Nice and easy project but looked good too. Looking forward to more videos. Regards olliebic
Thanks for that i am gonna make a book up as a memory for my daughters trip to london for her 18th loved your work and loved you, your very natrual and real and ye your hair was fine thanks for making me smile x
Hi, loved this video! Nice to see more UK artists doing this. Also nice that I'm not the only one who whiles away the early hours pottering around with creativeness. :)
Hi again, I just watched the clip again and I forgot to ask did you draw the "kid" on the front of the mini insert? I love the video please keep them coming!!
I like your video especially your accent:-) I am curious are you English or irish? I am usually pretty good with accents but yours is a mystery! Anyway Love the tutorial.
oooh, clever, (blush), yes, deffo easy peasy lemon squeezy! And soooo much cheaper than buying a pre-made album, or even the hardboard blanks... if you use acid free card stock in the beginning then it will last just as long as the shop bought ones. thanks for watchin x
it's called 'Tacky Glue' and it's made by Anita. It does not state that it's acid free, but there are loads out there now that are in the same style bottle that are acid free which is better when you're working with photos. Hope you find one that suits you.
this is lovely! so simple and looks great! thank you so much, i`m going to make a couple for my friends for Xmas :) I needed some gift ideas so thanks again!
Thanks so much xxx It is sooooo sturdy. I just used regular card stock for the book itself and the papers are from my huge collection, some are at least 3 or 4 years old, I think they're mainly Kay & Co. xx jo xx
Well, I am not gonna be very creative with my little comment but I just wanted to tell you how much I love your style!! The album is great and I want to try it immediately!!!
I really enjoyed your video and,to tell you the truth, when I started watching it, I thought : "Hey! Nice haircut!! Maybe I should get the same..."
No kidding :-D
I'm gonna check your other videos...
Thanks for sharing and keep showing us your treasures!!!
how sweet of you xxx I do hope that you went and got creative after this video. I am amazed that it has had so many views. I enjoyed creating the video so I'm thrilled that people have been inspired to create too. My hair is naturally VERY culry, so I have problems with it all the time, I straighten it most of the time now, although today...I look like a poodle :o) thanks again x
I am desperate for a cut 'n blow. I got my hair cut REALLY SHORT last year and I'm letting it grow but really, it nees sorting out. I'm have naturally REALLY curly hair but I straighten it. I may just go for a trim soon :o) Hope your book turned out ok xx jo xx
Hi Dali, thanks for stopping by. I'm glad you like them. You can get some beautiful scrapbooking papers now, and I often use them in my paintings :o) xx jo xx
oh my word!!! I am thrilled that I have 4 comments already. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH GUYS :O)
I tried loading this for over 3 hours last night and it wouldnt work, so I gave it one more try and went to bed at 1am so I am thrilled to see that it's up and running.
I'm made up that you like it....please let me know how you get on if you guys do make something similar.
Oh, I learned so much from this. I have not tried scrapbooking and it always seemed like a mystery to me. You have made it look so easy. And the papers are so pretty too. I'll be trying one real soon I think.
Good Morning Ginny :o) Yeah, I do hope that you give this a go. It's soooooo theraputic. Now, if you don't already have a stash of SCRAPBOOKING PAPER, any decorative paper will do, such a WRAPPING PAPER, PAGES FROM AN OLD BOOK (or new of course). You can use what ever you like, unless you're hung up on it being ACID FREE. But if you just wanna practice, just use an old NEWSPAPER, that would look pretty cool me thinks :o) x x x x
I watched this a few times to get the hang of putting the book together....I think I am going to the crafts store after work, and take a look around for some supplies. Funny, I had never thought of scrapbooking, but it looks like fun.
your accent is so pretty :D im jealous!
