this game should run way faster. but why not? i get the chance to borrow a laptop and here are the specs:

intel core 2 duo @ 1.67 ghz

2 gb ddr2 ram

500 gb hard drive

nvidia geforce 8600m 256 mb of vram

it could play this game at steady 30 frames. how come your macbook with an ssd which are faster than hdd, has a 9400m which is better, ddr3 format ram and faster processor gives you lower frames?

Boot Camp isn't running 2 OS at the same time. Using boot camp, you dual boot. It won't make OS X stuff slower because they're not affected.

@Ricardo95Santos Boas. Para correres jogos num mac mete o CrossOver Games, porque com essas specs em um portatil normal corre a mesma coisa no windows 7 como esse macbook air. Prefere por OSX + Crossover, tens o dobro do desempenho :)

i ran halo 2 vista and modern warfare 2 in parallels on everything highest and modern warfare 2 lagged alot but halo 2 was full frames

thats crazy good for the size of that laptop, it would run a lot faster if you would download it onto your ssd instead of running through the usb disk drive

It does lag, sometimes pretty badly too. It's playable if you don't expect anything amazing.
