Damn, I didn't manage to finish my third entry in time. Stupid sync issues, fuckin' open-source video editors...aw well, I was able to enter two of them. :)

@SuupaaGohan2 Yeah. But I watched through almost every entry, and your two were among some of the better ones submitted. If at least one of those doesn't make it in, I'll be shocked.

So, you should be proud of what you got and remember that quality is better than quantity. Just curious. Which video editor do you use?

@DairunCates Thanks for the compliment, it means a lot. I run Linux, so I checked out pretty much every open-source video editor there is, and most of them suck...the only ones I really like are KDEnLive and OpenShot, the latter of which I used entirely for When The Seagulls Duel. I might try Windows Movie Maker on my desktop (Vista) and see if it's any better; I have another non-Hell Umineko video I've been working on that I need to finish, as well.

@SuupaaGohan2 Windows Movie Maker is actually what I use. It catches a bad reputation that its doesn't entirely deserve. It's incredibly stable (at least compared to most video editors), and runs pretty fast on most systems without problems. On top of that, if you use the timeline mode, it's pretty efficient and excellent at what it does. The problem is that it severely limits special effects and text options unless you know a lot of XML (even then, it's meh). For basics though, it's good stuff.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check it out, then. I've heard that it's really lousy and only for the most basic of basic work, but, well, that's pretty much all I'm doing after all...cutting and rearranging frames and playing with different audio tracks. I'm sure it's at the very least more stable than these open-source projects, so I'll see if it'll help me finish up my in-the-works Umineko tribute to Dr. Nanjo.

As stated in rules, AMV's can be accepted if they are funny, but it's better to make pure parodies in general.
