Guido Buchwald was a formal world cup champion (1990 world cup. He is most noted for shutting Maradona out of the game in the final, as well as assisting Klinsmann the 1st goal of the match. He used to be a Urawa Reds player in the mid-90s, and coached Urawa for a couple seasons after retiring, leading them to their first league title in 2006. He now coaches a team in Germany (I think it was in the 1st division).
